I would think the rear would heat up more than the front because of how you use them. Front brake hard and intermittent and rear brake is more constant for speed management, thus not allowing it to cool. I’m surprised it gets that hot in 3 minutes but I guess it's super high intensity.

Awesome to see Gracey get her first win, well deserved. Good couple weeks for Canadians and the Squamish kids. Jackson today, Elly Hoskin with the EDR W and Ella MacPhee winning the U23 XCO last week - all went to the same high school.

hauser's blocked first run (heard rider crashed, was concussed, told not to drop but still did). apparently hauser's time still good enough for show so he didn't take the rerun (he was on start list again after his initial time).

Oh no, hope Erice is okay, it would be horrible if she re-injured herself so soon after Hardline. I was surprised she was already back and racing.

Blown away at how 'easy' Jacko made that look in the preview. Whipped out like a park double, and easily inside the poles... To see the best in the world struggle with that puts quite a bit in perspective.

on that note, just so everyone here is aware, there won't be vital videos from loudenvielle (or andorra or lenzerheide) this year. we decided to put our budget towards covering all of the domestic Pro DH series rounds and TN National races this year instead of full WC calendar. hopefully there's an Ed Bull RAW to keep us stoked LOL. lawlor will be back at Leogang.

I think it's really hard to do this objectively. For once the testers need to get really familiar with the tires and find the right air pressure for all conditions. Especially with the radial casings. Then it needs to be made sure that the rubber compound of the tires is new and has been stored properly (cold and dark). I once bought a cheap magic mary without packaging from a shop (probably covid stock not used for building complete bikes) and it had that grey shine to it and had less grip than the magic mary it replaced because the...

Hey all! Thanks for all your input on the first video. By popular request... part 2 of Front DH Tyres Accurately Timed: Schwalbe Albert Radial Gravity Ultra Soft vs Maxxis Assegai DH MaxxGrip. Another 15 timed laps on AC/DC at Bike Park Wales to quantify which tyre is quickest. No marketing hype, just data! Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Kudos to Ohlins for simple no nonsense evolution of an already great suspension based on rider feedback. Tried and true TTX18 damper that just works and is easy to service. This is refreshing in a sea of flashy marketing crap we have been bombarded with all season. We don't need your butter cups and 17% stiffer generatively designed arches.

Yeah not a whole lot of details for a press release.

What does reworked internals mean? And optimized for use with volume spacers? I thought with the 2 chamber system you don't need spacers?

What's extra sick about that Andorra video is that these guys are fierce competitors...but they have no issue riding together, pushing each other on, and in doing so, potentially "giving up" some of their own advantage. I realize it's not that cut and dry, and that they are still just cruising here, but regardless...there are not that many elite level sports where you'd see this. Mountain biking rules.
