3/6/2021 10:26pm downtube storage with access from the bottom is in my opinion way worse than the solution from specialized and trek where it's accessible behinde the bottle cage... seems to me it's in the line of fire from all kinds of mud and grime and you need to tip over the bike to access it. I'd rather have a strap on my bike...

2/23/2021 9:23pm Did they just pull all that right off this thread? I've seen them use stuff from here before but that's just brutal.

2/20/2021 7:40pm My guess she wins another wc or two and then goes on and dominates ews. She’d crush the comp and ews schedule and scene seems like a much more enjoyable schedule for a young family.

2/18/2021 6:57pm Intense is slowly becoming similar to Hyper. Producing unobtainable prototypes for high level team riders while only selling antiquated models that nobody wants.

2/11/2021 10:35pm Just watched Accomplice on Netflix last night and really respected how much time and effort Zink put into making sure that Paul Basagoitia wasn't left feeling alone. Zink taking the time and effort to put that message out on his social media and make a change raised my respect for him even more. Pretty cool... Edit: whoops, name.

2/5/2021 10:26pm Being in the public eye as a professional athlete comes with simple responsibilities around decency. You don’t have to be the perfect role model, you just have to be a decent person. Besides this terrible incident, he has posted videos of driving recklessly (cutting double yellows, swerving around people in blind corners) in his Porsche on a known deadly local road for cyclist and motorcyclist. My opinion on the topic is that it needs addressing by his sponsors, bike media, etc. Definitely not a role model for any kids in the sport. Probably not the forum for this so I’ll...

2/5/2021 10:25pm Gotcha. Didn't see the video, but did he really use a slur? If so, that needs to be called out by the bike media who were recently talking about the need for diversity, especially after Elliot's video about the racism he's faced.

2/5/2021 10:24pm In the video he says “and someone named Cams bike.” Speaking of this video which has now been removed, Cam shows why he is a sponsor nightmare. Openly using homophobic slurs on his public insta with 353k followers. Add that on top of a decade of bashing past sponsors, I’m surprised no one has canceled this guy yet. Any other sport and this guy would be dropped and black listed.

2/5/2021 10:23pm Magnus Manson has moved from Norco to Forbidden. He kept showing stripes on his bike on IG that are the exact ones used on the new Dreadnought design released today.

2/1/2021 4:07pm I'm excited to see the finished product. I used to be a Shimano fan but recently decided to buy the AXS system. I have to say it works exceptionally well. I've smashed it on multiple occasions harder than any mechanical derailleur could handle once and it shifts perfectly.

1/29/2021 1:03pm Food for thoughts: Out of the Top 20 Men WC DH Overall Standings, after most team transfert done 13 are now on Fox Suspension 4 on Rock Shox 3 on Ohlins Are Fox products that much better? Are they (Fox) giving THAT much more sponsorship money ? Are they offering such a superior support at the race? If you would be a top 10 guy, would you rather have a "personal" custom support like Loic & Ohlins or be with the mass and go where everybody else go because you'd feel they truly offer something better?

1/25/2021 1:25pm Apparently component shortages have pushed back many bike releases. The Norco should have been released in the past fall already. As for geometries, to play the devil's advocate, my 4th ride on the ultra long bike, just riding along, getting to know the bike, was 4 seconds of my PB on my local trail. From that point on PBs and KOMs started falling. So... And it's a 150 mm bike BTW. But notice that I never mentioned racing, I specifically mentioned pedalling. Meaning general riding, which is something most people tend to do.

1/23/2021 5:50pm I know that Downcountry and short travel slack bikes are all the rage these days but let me add my point of view. I've ridden a few of these bikes and they are indeed a lot of fun and feeling light and spirited on climbs is great. I just ran into problems when pointing them downhill. They give you all the confidence and if you forget that you actually don't have that much travel nor proper burly components, the bike gets hammered really fast. Just a few boosts off of small trailside lips with landing cased into gnar and you...
