regarding the remaining riders and team-spots here are my predictions:
vali höll -> trek frames with TLD/SRAM
andi kolb -> mondraker (markus pekoll is/was his coach and is still pretty involved with MS mondraker)
remi thierion -> syndicate (if they even choose to pick up a third rider)
Almost can say the same here in Aus, That Trans-Tasman travel bubble cant come soon enough, I want to ride Queenstown again and I'm sure my Kiwi bro's wanna go to Bondi Beach lol.
Shame Pivot couldn't make space for Charlie on the factory team. The team dynamic those guys had was great.
Defiantly a Hyper logo on that seatstay...

Side note: weird that he’s running an Arch cb7 rim on the back of a DH bike. Pretty sure it’s got like a 26mm internal width and weights something super miniscule.

I think the arch carbon is actually heavier than the flow carbon rim?

what kind of brand is Hyper? Can't even find a DH bike on their website
They are a department store brand that mostly sells bmx and I believe dirt jump bikes. They have decided that mtb is a good way to market their products. They basically have one offs for their endorsers and don’t produce high end mtb bikes for market.
This is likely more trolling, but Remi seems to be saying his new frame sponsor doesn't have a true DH bike in their lineup here. Maybe Evil? Aggy left and I haven't seen them pick up anyone else.

or Rocky Mountain, they got rid of the maiden, they have been giving their freeriders dual crown slayers, they don't have a road bike, and they're sold on Jenson USA, a partner of Remy's

They have been trying to break into mtb for years. Eric Carters first started working with them to build mtbs like 10 years ago.

That's what I thought, for as long as I can remember. They have a few riders signed to them.
EC is a good guy think he left to run the Specialized MTB DH program for a while then returned.

Seems like he has come and gone a few times. I remember stories he left the first time as he didn't like the direction they ultimately chose. He seems to have a soft spot for the brand as they were a sponsor of his back in his BMX days.

That would make a lot of sense and it would be rad to see him on a slayer (I ride a 2020 slayer). But I wonder if after the recalls they had on their trail bikes last year, the rocky RF enduro team and all the free riders they sponsor (vanderham, Simmons, storch) do they have the money to bring in another big name?
What event is the photo from?
Seems so odd seeing a crowd like that now
Completely forget there are events going ahead with all the oddness right now around us all.

But yeah, the writing is on the shirt
this is a second picture of Vali from pinkbike
