Uggh. Finding comfortable knee pads involves spending $120 a pop to get them, wear them, see if they blister, fall, burn you up, etc...then trying to convince someone to buy them if they suck so you can repeat the process with the next style/brand/color.

He's definitely skilled but man he takes some janky lines and (to me) sets up really weird. I don't ride clipped in though and that's probably a lot of it.

Hey thank you guys so much for sharing this, especially with so much going on over the past few months. I know i upset some people by speaking out and advocating for others like me, and I really wasn't sure if that would ruin things when it came to bigger websites like this being willing to feature any of our videos moving forward. Seeing this pop on the homepage was a huge surprise and it not only made me smile but literally brought a few tears to my eyes. I appreciate you guys so much and I am so grateful...

We all eat, breath, drink, some sort of "poison" knowingly or unknowingly all the time I get sick of hearing it every time energy drinks are mentioned, I wonder how many people that make "just drink water" comments are straightedges themselves. Most of that type say RedBull is poison, so is beer, soda, coffee, and Flint water. RB sells a product you can buy it or not, don't want a RB don't have one. Your arguments make little sense. Red Bull drink is marketed as a consume in moderation product, Coca-Cola is certainly not and the sugar and caffeine differences per serving are of negligible difference. I'm not sure what questions you have about Red Bull's "money flow" but the drinks company is essentially a marketing company and off-shoots like Red Bull Media House (who do WC coverage) are, like their F1 teams, a part of their diversification away from beverages only. I hope everyone that made a complaint about the FREE redbull coverage over the years, wishes they did not. Redbull changed the entire landscape of DH and XC racing. Huge resurgence for both sports, in terms of viewership since Redbull got involved. They built hype, excitement and did it well. It is an incredibly hard sport to cover, logistically and they got better and better. UCI owes redbull a debt of gratitude. Too early to tell what will come of this, perhaps DiscoTV will lead us to a whole new audience? and that can be good. I just don't know...

if they don't hire warner, we kickstarter to get an alternative audio stream of warner. also, over the last two-three years b/c of red bull free streams, watching XC has been awesome. i never cared before, but the coverage had me tuning in. hopefully that continues as well.

It's a shame because I used to Lust after Intense bikes. I started riding in 99 and I had posters of all the intense riders and bikes on my wall as a kid. I even loved the Haro team because they were riding rebranded M1's. I had this poster over my bed:

Where do you see Zone5 owns 25% of Outside? You have Pitchbook access? Regardless this whole "conflict of interest" thing is hilarious to me. You all do realize we're talking about bike reviews, right? The conflict of interest has been there from the get go, investor or not. Most of the time, to get a product featured/reviewed/etc you have to be an advertiser on the site. EG, you pay the company for an ad package, they'll also review the product. The media company knows if they write a shit review, the company likely won't be super into reupping their ad...
