Yes, where we have among the lowest ChinaFlu death rates in the nation, despite having the highest rate of Elderly in the nation. NY, NJ, CA and others who have idiotic mandates sure wish their death rates were as low as ours..... Why again is it AOC was just here? With out a face diaper?

Pisgah - congrats on drinking the Kill-Aid. Our data, you know, at our facilities where we see our patients does not at all correlate with the narrative that you are reading. We had a PT just last week (very gifted MTN rider). He was presenting with abdominal pain. DX was quite clear and he was scheduled for the surgical unit. THREE TIMES he refused a ChinaFlu test (as is his right). While he was under anesthesia for a laparoscopic appendectomy they tested him (against his will) and after that....you guessed it! Hospitalized for ChinaFlu! (he was there a total of...

Unlike dictator Griz who has been watching too much CNN, I feel any aspect of a racer's medical health aught to be made by the racer. I also think it's absolutely ridiculous to mandate such medical requirements when it's neither been proven safe or effective. I'm seeing way too many first hand complications (specifically heart related issues) from young and healthy individuals that statistically would have been fine had they acquired their immunity naturally by contracting COVID. We've turned this into a much larger mess than it needed to be. If you want the vaccine, get the vaccine. If you...

Yeah I’m pretty pro vax but if I’m relying on my body to make a living I’m definitely gonna wait until some long term data comes in. The guys were talking about mostly are the peak of whatever class they are competing in. Generally devoting their entire life and forgoing education to make it big. I can’t blame them for not wanting a shot that hasn’t been around a very long time.

Yea seems Griz thinks all the top world cup racers are vaxxed. Haha. Would be shocked if it was over 50% if you're including XC and DH.

You must not realize that professional athletes, though a very small portion of the population, are on average likely the least vaccinated demographic you can find.

You are correct. There is no bike company (that I have ever heard of) that has the ability to extrude their own tube sets. The ones who claim "custom-drawn" are real, they simply pay for tubes made to their specifications from whatever supplier they choose based on their criteria (ISO or otherwise). The same is true for all metals (Sandvik, Reynolds - https://www.reynoldstechnology.biz/ ) and many others. Most bike companies do not want to admit it but their "custom" tube is nothing more than a stock tube butted by the MFG for you, me, them, her, him and any other...

The cost of repairing mountain bikes is totally prohibitive for the average user. Think about how much you'd spend on repairs if you had to do 100% of repairs at your LBS, and how many days/weeks/months you'd be out of a bike while it's in getting repaired? In the last year for me: Suspension service multiple times Changing tires multiple times Brake pads and bleeds multiple times Rear rim replaced Multiple drivetrain components broken/repaired/replaced It would cost me a small fortune and my bike would spend more time in the shop than out. I know I'm a frequent rider and...

there was plenty of rim material 20+ years ago when rim makers used schrader sized holes with grommets for presta valves on 20mm internal width rims.

This whole building looks like the room in Men in Black where Will Smith is sitting in the 'modern' egg shaped chair and struggles with no surface to write on hahaha Still cool design and it's dope but I dunno, is there any soul in there?

Drunknride Added a reply to Go with SRAM or stay with Shimano?

Bad luck or operator error or both. I prefer shimano but I'm not so biased as to think a certain derailleur will hold up to being smashed against things significantly better then another (apples to apples, not SLX to walmart).
