9/13/2025 12:29am How sad. Since when did this forum become some kind of gossip column, bitching about pro riders who you don’t know personally and have probably never met? Stop this nonsense and just enjoy the spectacle. This season is becoming another classic. Hope it goes to the final round.

9/13/2025 12:25am I find it hard to root against Jackson for a bunch of reasons: 1. He's obviously a generational talent on a bike. 2. He looks like he has fun every time he gets on the bike, whether it's practice, in a race or at the local dirt jumps. 3. (Maybe the most important to me) He seems to be stoked for everyone. He placed 16th in Les Gets and is reposting Ronan's winning run. He's almost always at the finish line, waiting to congratulate his competitors. He might be one of best riders on a bike, but he hypes up...

9/13/2025 12:24am No doubt Goldstone is a nice kid but he’s far from the average mtb bro. He’s basically a factory product, groomed to a level beyond what we’ve seen in the past (no BK jokes please 😂). I think our expectations as fans and his own expectations are just so high that his first rainbow jersey and WC overall feel like a bit of a formality. What’s more exciting is the fact that he’s got the potential to be an all time record breaker. I’ll be rooting for him in 2040.

9/13/2025 12:23am I am not finding it hard to root for him. Now if he keeps going next year or two like this it will change maybe. I am enjoying his taking it to those who had been dominating.

9/13/2025 12:18am Someone here had to have predicted DJI's entry into the ebike motor market right?? In hindsight this is the most obvious thing ever. My bold prediction is that Shimano will eventually exit the motor market. A bike component/fishing reel company with the slow Japanese engineering philosophy (which is why I like them for the record) just can't compete with Bosch and DJI in terms of speed or technical/engineering. Same prediction but double for SRAM Powertrain. Raise your hand if you've never seen one of those motors in person.

9/7/2025 8:51pm The 13-14 year age difference aside, the really problematic part for me is the fact that he was/is still her boss, and that relationship began when she was a teenager. If he was her teacher or coach at school and they started dating shortly after she graduated people would be up in arms. How is this any different?

9/7/2025 8:50pm You can always tell a girl who is interested in you no. Or at minimum not yet. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone imply Jenna is at all at fault or that she doesn’t have the right to do what she wants to do and be with who she wants to be with. I’ve only seen people question bernard. Who while doesn’t have Brian lopes level of bad reputation doesn’t exactly have the best one either. He’s always come off to plenty of people as a bit of a tool and I think his choices just solidify that thinking for...

9/5/2025 11:49pm I don’t understand this sentiment. Spec still makes a bike at a price point for you, now they add a bike that means they will actually make money and can continue making the bike you want. But then they are lame for that. Imagine driving a Ford Focus and then you start shitting on ford because they build the GT40? Or maybe this would be more equivalent to driving an f150 XL then you whine because they build an F150 Lariat

8/31/2025 10:45pm I'd hardly say the hardline thing was the nail in the coffin. If anything that was more so 'cringe' and just tasty troll bait for poking fun at him, for both fans and fellow riders alike. And it would be easy enough for him to roll with the punches. The nail in the coffin for me came a while ago, and I'm still blown away how it all worked out and is overlooked by this point 🤦♂️
