Just added them in with a brief description. In my mind, those bars are a 10 out of 10, but I did consider the benefit of a softer bar in technical terrain.

Love these bikes. Really cool build too. Is the matching fork a wrap or paint?

It’s painted to match. It’s actually Cerakote, maybe the word should be ‘ceramic-ed’? But I really don’t want that to be a word.

Battery and range discussion thread someone please. I'd create one but I doubt I could bear the notifications.

Thank You, My thoughts exactly. We could all use a little headed thinking, and the realization that we are all different, ride different, on different terrain, with different abilities, on different bikes, and have different needs/wants. We live in a wonderful time, with amazing choices, that all work really well

The public perception of Srams brake options over the years has mind fucked me. In the not too distant past there were world cup DH riders using guides and most people were fairly happy with them. For quite a while now Codes (especially the RSC) has been a benchmark for a very good brake for basically any application and everybody decided to shit on guides. Now that mavens simply exist I guess we have to steer clear of codes because they are garbage now. I’ll be on current saints till I need adult diapers.

20 mm axle requires even thinner (and weaker) bearings if you want to keep a hub axle compared to a 15 mm axle hub.

Just to bring it back to tech rumors. I saw knolly post a story about a new bike coming on the 26th. Looks like it might be a mullet with longer travel. Any guesses what? New Warden?

Since we’re all making assumptions here, I’d assume downvotes are for reviewing a brake (that’s not secret or prototype) in the tech rumors thread. Please end the discussion about that brake here and take it to the brake thread. I’ve nuked that last handful of replies about it and orig review. and whoa that flight attendant reservoir!

I think the latest purchase was just IP – so just the brand names, domains, etc. Whereas earlier purchases were for the whole business. But yeah, I think Signa bought it for an ungodly amount of money, operated at a loss for the last few years, and sold it for pennies. I was looking online at used Sprinter vans recently and had a chuckle when the Vitus demo van popped up.

It's only telemetry if it comes from the telemetry region of France; otherwise it's just sparkling data acquisition. But actually: If the data being collected aren't also being transmitted, it isn't telemetry.

I think you're referring to a difference between "telemetery" and "another word that sounds kinda like telemetry". Unfortunately I don't even know what the other word is, let alone the difference. Could you explain please? (Remember when Willy Wonka sent candy over radio? I'm kinda hoping to learn that telemeatery is sending meat.)

I'm sure there must either be a rule against my idea or it just doesn't deliver wins, it' s so simple that if it worked everyone would have done it - and then the rules would have been changed to prohibit it. I haven't reviewed the rules, was merely noting that you could work around rules against transmitting data (that's...
