10/13/2025 7:00am Yah them doing black bikes with anodized frames again just seems right. I love my raw jedi frame too but if we are going to color anything black is so proper.

10/8/2025 5:25am The biggest mistakes being made in the outdoor industry now are people making product/brand decisions based on people's personal opinion/preference vs. actual consumer feedback/data. There's an entire generation of brands that have been successful largely due to the growth of the industry where it's very hard to determine whether success was due to a good brand/product decision vs. just luck/right place right time.

10/7/2025 6:51am Ah man, the V1 proto looks so much better then the new refined (probably production) bike. I'm actually a lttle sad, that this thing will never hit the market.

10/7/2025 6:51am Again, great review! Did you get all the "factory" options in the shock and fork? (the gold shit, not the electronics
)

10/7/2025 6:25am Showing up to a federal land agency meeting with heat maps printed discussing decommission was an eye opening experience. It’s a great tool for them to identify and remove any trail that was a significant amount of time to build. Your 2 minutes of enjoyment likely was 100 hours of work or more. And it just put a bullseye on the trail when you published your ride. You can remove sharing heat maps on your settings, not make rides public and hide your maps. Or just not strava those trails.

10/6/2025 7:23am 3 reasons, bike brands got greedy and started creating new bike standards which built in forced obsolescence on components and frames, so a new bike only lasts a few years before it's no longer compatible with new available components, vs one that was good for ten years or more back in the early noughties, or literally for decades in the 90s. Brands chased the money making 10k bikes that no one can afford as times got harder, they chased profit per unit rather than vfm and that detached new bike purchasing from the really loyal die hard fans. Basically they...
