Thanks so much! The gearbox can be shifted up to higher gears whilst pedalling but needs pressure off the pedals to shift back down. I believe the newest generation of the Effigear gearbox can be shifter under load in both directions.

Thanks! This was the only way to get a low gear ratio to match a 32t chainring to 50t eagle on the 9 speed Effigear box

A question for the rider (not me, I am the framebuilder) though Australia generally lacks the elevation to really cook brakes.

Yep, so a 200mm dc-fork would be 30ish mm higher than this, I presume, 160mm one, so the HA would go to 62.5ish degrees - not bad! Definitely not bad!

HA is 64, effective STA is 77.3

Thanks. The geometry doesn't change for the switch between pivot points, but it could be easily made to do so. In this case the more park style geometry is achieved with the additional rake and bb height from a dh fork. You're right that the frame is built considering use as a park bike, though the bend radius for the down tube and seat tube would require this heavier wall thickness in any case, so would be overbuilt for trail use regardless

Thanks. It has a clear coat over it to keep the fresh fabricated steel look as long as possible, but it will delaminate without a primer so will start to patina
