9/12/2025 2:27pm I liked my V2 Sentinel much better with a DHX2 vs the Float X2 it came with. It even felt poppier than the X2 and I loved the extra traction on the rear. Eventually I got a newer Float X and it worked really well for the trails I rode more consistently. I still put the coil on if I was doing gnarlier stuff when I wanted but I wouldn't say the weight or how the coil rode made the bike worse. Just different for what I needed it to do. And it was LEAGUES better that the X2

9/11/2025 2:27pm I'm not quite sure I 100% agree. Currently running a DVO Jade X Prime x Sprindex coil on a '19 Sentinel with Cascade Link (150/146 travel) and it feels incredible. The bike weighs about 36.7 lbs which is heavy but tolerable for a size XL and a 190 lb rider. The Sprindex solves the spring rate problem and it always...

9/11/2025 2:24pm I think quite a few. Transition and Raaw fit this description. I just recently built up a Kavenz that’s can also take 205 x 57.5-60

9/11/2025 7:37am What are the most coil-friendly trail/all-mountain frames which can use a 205 eye to eye Trunnion shock with 57.5-65 stroke?

9/8/2025 6:07am The Lisa Baumann pick was the most clutch honestly I did the worst I've ever done and somehow only dropped 3 ranks in the overall

9/6/2025 4:48pm I think that's the case. Now I'm thinking I'm an idiot for picking the elite underdogs that I did. No way they're getting top 30

9/6/2025 4:46pm same here. im hoping naturally the juniors points being smaller means its no biggie for the overall total. but i def dont think im getting any impressive ranking. especially with how elites are looking so far. but we'll see it's always a gamble, and a fun one. part of me does love this pre-qualifying format. will be fun to compare it to other races in terms of averages and highest score, to see if its roughly similar or if people just end up with half as many points. im assuming far enough down the rankings you get 0 or maybe...

9/6/2025 4:23pm I did alright in Juniors, but my underdogs Hudson Tarling and Elise Porta didn't do great though. Here's my elite picks: I strayed far from my usual strategy of picking all underdogs this round. Without quali info I had no idea what underdogs to pick.

9/4/2025 6:36pm I would think the Walton’s could easily start their own brand/sub brand with just about whoever they wanted. (Don’t they already have one). Doesn’t seem to make a ton of sense to buy into a brand with a tarnished reputation and a ton of unnecessary hurdles when you have a ton of capital and access to one of the most robust distribution infrastructures in the us both online and storefront. would be cool if they bought gt. Put the department store stuff on the shelves and the premium stuff dtc or ordered to storefront. Way richer history and far less...

9/3/2025 2:29pm These points will count towards overall (we have to have points to run the game and they automatically get tallied to overall). I’d mentioned at beginning of year that’s there’s no overall competition this year tho. I’ll throw top 5 some shirts or something

9/1/2025 8:46am Consumers aren't good (or maybe just don't waste time over it obsessively like I do) at finding deals... You can have a pretty fucking tricked out bike for like $4k. Spend 3-3.5k on a nice sale with good suspension. Spend the rest customizing with choice cockpit and tasteful anodized parts. I paid $307 for carbon Elitewheels before tariffs (THANKS TRUMP)...
