Ready for each and every down vote. Where the hell did the “blade” thing come from. The thing your finger touches is a lever. Normally on a bicycle a first class lever. It is connected to a master cylinder. When we had cantilever brakes I don’t remember anyone calling them “blades”. No other industry calls what is used as the interface where the human interacts with the braking system a blade. I’m sure I’m “Old man yelling at clouds” Come at me bro

Notes on the points standings after 8 races: Women Elite: Vali Höll is now in 1st by 127 points over Gracey Hemstreet with 2 races remaining. Her consistency has to make her a solid favorite to win the overall for the 3rd straight year. Men Elite: Loic Bruni moved into 1st place by 100 points over Jackson Goldstone. He was 195 points back after 5 races. I feel like this is the most appropriate thread for this info, unless we need a new forum topic. US Customs is stopping the entry of all parts manufactured by Giant in Taiwan over forced labor claims. This has a huge impact on the industry beyond Giant alone. I just love the format. Maybe best fantasy I've seen so far for MTB/MX. You can pick like ~30 riders and do very well... Or you can pick 10. You can do well without picking any of the race winners. Or you can pick all the race winners, and if they aren't the top cost riders they are epic values. And that's the thing. Some would say racing gets boring if its just Jackson every weekend or just Jett Lawrence every weekend... But having a fantasy where a bottom rank guy goes mid pack and scores well for you makes...

My last 2 rounds have been brutal, over the summer I have slightly reduced my internet addiction due to horrible things like work, life, family... I'm going to put a stop to that today and lock in to get back into the top 100 over the final rounds.

Wow, welp, didn't do as bad as I had expected and actually went up in the 'overall' with a 100+ ranking number. Yet again a sign that people struggled with picks this round and even some of the better players were struggling. I'm surprised this round had, by far, the lowest 'best possible score'? I would have thought the Tahnee and Amaury wins would have been a great way to make a buck but I guess all the other picks fell relatively in line...
