Wolfhound Cycles Custom Skyhook 9
Parts
General Info
Custom built frame, by Wolfhound Cycles, in Talent Oregon.
Fred is a brazing and bracing genius.
Geo based on transition SPIRE, Except with a 150 fork and Proper stack.
The Color is Kermit which is what Santa Cruz called Clover on the old butcher’s. A guy needs a green bike in the garage at all times. Eric @colorworkspalette did a fine job in Eugene.
Being a good old Oregon rider and relocated to Colorado, I’m beyond stoked to have my team colors on this bike when I’m “out there, up here”
I plan to run “regular tires and wheels” too….
but this bike was designed to open possibilities with its tire/rim combination in the blown traction less Colorado high country- and then shred said possibilities to bits with its modern and aggressive enduro geometry.
450 stays. 63 head angle. 530 reach. Stratospheric stack. 78 seat angle.
clearance for 3.00 minions on 52mm rims and superboost/boost hub spacing.
External cabling, and lots of water.
I like my bike. I like it a lot.
It works really really well.
