Haro doesn't seem to be on good ground right now.. A lot of BMX models not showing up on the website, the shop i used to work for is telling me that inventory on the B2B is not very good. I'm hearing about a road team they're working with that is owed money.. Maybe the jump into the high end road and MTB segments was too much, too quickly?

Also saw this last night: https://www.bicycleretailer.com/industry-news/2025/10/08/peopleforbikes… Didn't have a bike industry pro-tariff stance in the cards. Protectionism at it's best- save one company for the industry to crater.

Can someone make the title of this thread read “Bike-onomics, “bike-o-nomics,” or even “bikeUHnomics?” Just really anything that eliminates that clunky C in the middle? It’s really bad. Thanks in advance.

just FYI, to all who've replied w/ their information to receive prizes, brands should have your details (or they're getting it asap). i'll be reaching out to lake placid winners soon. some have asked about overall prizes. we're not rolling an official overall prize list this year, but maybe we can come up with something special.

About to try this out, but on paper sounds incredible. I've always imagined something like this, could be an absolute game changer for Intense if it works well.

10/7/2025 7:47am Edit: Nvm Hyped for the final rounds boys. I already have a couple picks in mind provided they qualify with a decent time.

ya i'm a bit surprised in a way, going as low as I did. when i bring up the best possible team i think 'i have a lot of these picks tbh'... but that would just mean a ton of people did very well this round. i do know i left out luca (he's not helping my superstitions) and I did swap out myriam because i'm a full on idiot... but even then i feel like my picks should be decent. i suppose all the other names were just scoring ok points, whereas the real meat of the best possible...

10/6/2025 4:28am Kinda surprised I only got 67th this round. Luke and Luca were pretty obvious picks though given their quali times. Looks like Myriam Nicole and Sacha Earnest were some of the uber value picks I missed out on. Wayman too. MikeAlfaTango still absolutely slaying the overall, doesn't look like anyone's catching him.

Super fun sitting down with Jeff and Spomer to discuss the economics of making and selling bikes. Thanks for the invite, and hope the rest of y'all enjoy our various musings, disagreements, and observations.
