Much like Jason's Stumpy, my Sentinel is pretty much my don't-worry-about-weight bike, so I can't complain. It is definitely a bit of a bear in comparison to my 120/140 steel bike which is 29-31 pounds depending on what parts I'm running, but they complement each other well. Average weight of a Stumpy 15 alloy on our sales floor is about 37 pounds, which is only a pound less than the Status 170. It's a portly frame for sure.

Plenty of towns in America looking to attract employers, employees, and tourists and plenty of rich people looking to do some charity to improve their standing in peoples minds. Sure bentonville probably is not repeatable on that scale but plenty of places can certainly look at it as a model where investing in the outdoors is paying off for the community.

Arkansas is getting 2 bike parks with lifts! One in Mena with multiple lifts and one Bentonville / Bella Vista with one lift.

The Elite standings tightened quite a bit. Jackson's lead in the standings is now only 25 points and Gracey has pulled within 59 points of 1st.

If it’s this exciting from a spreadsheet, imagine how insane it would be to have actually been able to watch those runs.. Juniors are something else.

I can't reply to this without derailing the thread into something I don’t intend. I also don’t care to 'defend' all Marc’s ideas, implied, explicit, or otherwise. Giant waste of time, even if I do feel you are painting him in a light that isn't totally accurate.
