7/3/2026 11:48am I have LoamLab Counterpunch on my Sentinel trail bike and I love them. They've already saved my pinky knuckles numerous times. I'd be keen to try the Wolftooth ones if I didn't already have these. I might miss the actual pinky protection too.

7/3/2026 11:47am I put some time in designing some 3D printable bar ends. Went through quite a lot of trial and error but now i'm really happy with how they turned out. Currently being tested by myself and a few local riders. So if you or someone you know owns a 3D printer, and you find it hard to justify 50 dollars for the wolf tooth ones, or you're waiting for them to restock maybe check out https://cults3d.com/:4581834 Total cost for a pair is somewhere about 5ish bucks including my file, filament, bolts and nuts. If you brake them, that's a few...

6/24/2026 4:43pm For years people have been asking for MGUs from SRAM and Shimano and there has long been speculation that those brands didn’t get involved because they didn’t want to undermine their own market share of expensive, high wear components. In doing so they’ve left their flank wide open for a Chinese company to swallow up the drivetrain market while solving issues riders have complained about for decades. Horrific miscalculation from the drivetrain cartel.

6/20/2026 3:00am Is there any way to see rider pick percentage after picks are closed? If not I'd like to see that available

6/19/2026 5:07pm Ok, feelin a touch better about my picks (and the budget) this round. Just a solid 10-rider roster. With only a small chunk left over instead of a massive like 35k left over. It's so, so cool to see all these new names near the top and have the big names struggling (ignore Vali practically sweeping the season)... Just makes Fantasy that much more fun. Good luck to all yall playazz

6/19/2026 6:52am This is big, X Lab is the big Asian brand thats making in roads and had a huge Sea Otter presence. Interested to see that a regional, but larger, retailer pick them up. They have mtb's coming. https://www.bicycleretailer.com/announcements/2026/06/11/x-lab-doubles-…

6/19/2026 6:52am No joke, X-Lab just won two stages in the Giro d'Italia, so they're not messing around. If they're going to enter the MTB market, that's a big deal.

6/19/2026 6:44am honestly looking at some of the bloated product lines I agree. as an amateur consumer, I would suggest that what really is needed is 3 mtb frames, and 2 ebike frames max. an XC and downcountry model - like a flex stay 29er, pedalling prioritised a trail/all mountain model - regular suspension, maybe option of 29 or MX via flip chip. big travel bike - maybe but not necessarly high pivot, MX wheel, descent focussed suspension, could be a DH bike, park bike, enduro bike based on fork and drivetrain spec. and then 2 ebike front triangles that would work...

6/15/2026 4:30am D eore has long been Shimano’s entry-point groupset. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles like XT or XTR, but it retains enough trickle-down tech to get the job done. Deore was last updated in 2020 , and after spending last year focused on Shimano’s latest Di2 drivetrains, it’s refreshing to receive a new mechanical groupset that caters to budget-conscious riders (i.e., us at Vital). Deore has shared the bottom of Shimano's product hierarchy with SLX for many years. SLX was a bit nicer and higher priced to bridge the gap to XT. Moving forward, Deore takes over as...

6/11/2026 11:53am I think we're landing somewhere in the middle. We'll see when the winner and best possible team come out but... Could def be argued that top prices needed to come down and lowest prices needed to come up because sometimes race winners were not even worth picking and the best possible team was just full of no name juniors (sorry kids) my current team based off TT is still 15 riders. the only annoying thing is just having a chunk of budget left over that can't be used, but it's the same numbers for everyone so whatever.
