6/2/2026 7:51am I'm just here for the love of the game, baby. And by that I mean cursing my favorite riders by picking them as well as considering a rider last second, ultimately not picking them, and watching them win the whole damn race of course. (ur welcome Luca)

6/1/2026 5:16pm I don't like a rider cap idea. What they need to do is bring top rider prices down a bit to make them better value and worth picking.

5/31/2026 2:58pm Now that Luca got his first Elite win, are Bernard Kerr and Dakotah Norton now the two currently active male riders who've entered the most World Cup races without an Elite win? If so, I wonder which of them is more likely to get a win. Luca had 78 WC races, with 3 2nd place finishes, before today. If Roots & Rain is accurate, here are their numbers: Bernard: 113 WC races, best finish 2nd (1 time). He's been in 1 final this year, finishing 21st. Dakotah: 69 races, best finish 2nd (2 times). He hasn't qualified for a final...

5/31/2026 2:57pm I can’t speak to any specific instance but the shear number of DSQs this weekend is unusual and I have a few hunches. It’s easier to tell where you left the track. Whether because of damaging the tape of just the additional visual information. Earlier someone also mentioned that tape helps you see which direction the trail is going whenever there’s a blind crest and I think that’s true as well. Obviously racer’s are tasked with memorizing the track but the brain is weird and this strikes me as a pointless hazard that could be remedied with short taped sections...

5/31/2026 2:42pm GG everyone, what a wild race. Aletha crashing and still coming in 3rd, crashes galore in Elite Men's; I'm sure many teams were detonated like those corners.

5/30/2026 2:00pm It seems like the timing system has gone off the rails (or a red flag at the bottom of the course for the junior women).

5/29/2026 4:55am Would love to see what a Gamux enduro or trail bike /w Reece Wilson spice would look like for us mere mortals who also don't have access to downhill parks.

5/29/2026 4:53am The World Cup lands in the familiar setting of Loudenvielle, France for the 2nd round of DH in 2026. The Europe-based race means that getting new bikes, parts, pits and products to the venue is a lot easier than round 1. That means plenty of craziness to peep in the pits. photos by Rick Schubert Antidote Solutions' AS05 bike - Learn all about it here.

5/28/2026 12:37pm Bicycle imports hit low point Imports to the US are down overall, with 1.98 million units imported in the first quarter. This figure is second lowest only to first quarter 2023, at 1.7 million units, when the industry was at the height of the inventory glut. Value is also unusually low, plunging below $200 million to $196 million, and continuing the downward trend from fourth quarter 2025. From Bike EU. Less reliance on China (down 42%) given the tariff situation and more reliance on Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and India. Taiwan dipped slightly as a country of origin as well.
