I think we're landing somewhere in the middle. We'll see when the winner and best possible team come out but... Could def be argued that top prices needed to come down and lowest prices needed to come up because sometimes race winners were not even worth picking and the best possible team was just full of no name juniors (sorry kids) my current team based off TT is still 15 riders. the only annoying thing is just having a chunk of budget left over that can't be used, but it's the same numbers for everyone so whatever.

6/10/2026 9:28pm I don't wanna harsh the vibe but now we're Pinkbike Fantasy. IMO all rider prices need to come down now (or budgets increased), having teams with 4-5 riders isn't nearly as fun as having 10+. We'll see how it goes

Wyn, would be great, they really need to sort the commentary out, its absolutely abysmal. Ric talks some amount of absolute pish, and they really need to be on site and have at least one of the commentators going round the pits and speaking to the riders in the run up to the race and be able to offer some interesting insights.

I'm just here for the love of the game, baby. And by that I mean cursing my favorite riders by picking them as well as considering a rider last second, ultimately not picking them, and watching them win the whole damn race of course. (ur welcome Luca)

Now that Luca got his first Elite win, are Bernard Kerr and Dakotah Norton now the two currently active male riders who've entered the most World Cup races without an Elite win? If so, I wonder which of them is more likely to get a win. Luca had 78 WC races, with 3 2nd place finishes, before today. If Roots & Rain is accurate, here are their numbers: Bernard: 113 WC races, best finish 2nd (1 time). He's been in 1 final this year, finishing 21st. Dakotah: 69 races, best finish 2nd (2 times). He hasn't qualified for a final...

I can’t speak to any specific instance but the shear number of DSQs this weekend is unusual and I have a few hunches. It’s easier to tell where you left the track. Whether because of damaging the tape of just the additional visual information. Earlier someone also mentioned that tape helps you see which direction the trail is going whenever there’s a blind crest and I think that’s true as well. Obviously racer’s are tasked with memorizing the track but the brain is weird and this strikes me as a pointless hazard that could be remedied with short taped sections...
