Nah, it was more your insistence that there was no way Intense had a team this year, let alone 2 teams. A lot of us were just hoping Dak would end up on one of them after he crushed last year. But if he got two different Intense bikes to work for him, my money is on him doing it with Mondraker as well. The haircut better be just a rumor though...

Yeah I'll admit I zoomed in on both and matched some key freckles on both hands. Some are not as prominent in the mondraker photo but I'm 99% sure it's him. ... the whole process felt weird as hell haha.

As to point 2; are the UCI enforcing any rules pertaining to this? My understanding is that Stephan Garlicki signed a similar sponsorship deal with OnlyFans, but is competing at WC races without issue. Call me cynical, but I'd say Buchanan saying he's not allowed to race is probably more about his love of clickbait than anything else.

Some riders adapt to a bike more than wanting the bike to adapt to them. They seem to get focused more on changing the bike as they get older (more experience of what they want). Younger guys are happy to have support and just push through. I think some riders over think it and some riding styles don't mesh with certain designs/suspension kinematics. I really believe that there isn't any "bad" bike on the W.C. circuit, just some more suited based on riding style. "Find your perfect match"

I dont know anything about Dak, but Ryan has gotten his fastest times ever on the bike on runs he knows very well and can make good comparisons. Mondraker is keen to make the bike fast and and is making that a priority. So I think whomever is on the bike will do well.
