3/9/2023 7:26am I think the plan is to have: XX, Deluxe XX, Super Deluxe XX, Super Deluxe XX Select, Super Deluxe XX Select Plus, Super Deluxe XX Ultimate, Super Deluxe XX Ultimate SL, Super Deluxe XX Ultimate SL AXS, and, of course, Super Deluxe XX Ultimate SL AXS Flight Control™ B52 C130 with Electrolytes.

3/9/2023 7:26am I cant for the life of me think why GX isnt acceptable, other than youd like something more blingy. I'm willing to put a 6 pack on the fact, that in a blind test, you couldnt tell the difference between a GX rear mech, and an either higher priced equivalent. Ill supply the bike, and beer, and put you to the test on it if youre willing. As noted in earlier posts, you can get current gen, cable XX1 groupsets on TBS bike parts for mere shillings. If you need it, go get it, otherwise, I'm unsure about complaining about...

3/9/2023 7:20am Not that anyone cares... I have gx axs and I'm on my 3rd derailleur (first two were warrantied for clutch failures). I originally had it on my enduro bike because that's the bike I put all the fancy stuff on... but I also travel with it in a bike bag often and liked the ability to remove it from the frame easily and not having to wrap it in a pool noodle to protect the rear triangle. I digress... I have since removed it from my enduro bike and moved it over to my ebike and if given the choice...

3/9/2023 7:15am jesus wept, The amount of whinging from you lot on a forum specifically about tech rumours and innovation is astounding to me. Primoz, man, like I said, theres tonnes of brand new XX1 out in the world, go buy it so you no longer have to worry. I can only assume you have tried AXS on your mtb, strangely everyone Ive spoken to that owns it, absolutely loves it. Ive seen many online complaints, but I dont put too much stock into that, cause often its people weirdly expressing opinions about something they know very little about those of you...

3/8/2023 6:06am Instasram posted this, the same gimmick as the original AXS I think? Launch is probably a week away.

3/8/2023 6:04am With the Trek on the non-drive side, and the Nomad in soft focus, there's not much detail to see, but Miranda's bikes in today's SRAM announcement are clearly set up with the new stuff. You can tell the crankset is different than current models, you can see that the controller pods are the new shape, and—I could definitely be wrong about this one—the amount of exposed stanchion on the droppers has me thinking those miiiiiiight be 200s. Maybe.

3/8/2023 6:03am That’s a current gen Enduro. Theres nothing to glean one way or another about what geo adjustments, suspension format, dropout configuration, or anything else that the next gen will have (Of course it’s going to have UDH though, because duh). Also, Specialized’s execution of the chainstay flip chip, as on the Stumpy Evo and the Kenevo SL, is fine for UDH, as it’s based at the Horst pivot in front of the dropouts. The kind of chainstay length flip chip that Santa Cruz had on the first Megatower can’t work with UDH, but that’s a different configuration.

3/7/2023 8:35am Whatever it is, I hope they ditch the "this is the only roman font we have on this computer" stanchion markings.

3/6/2023 9:10am Regarding the 2023 Super Deluxe, Disclaimer- I don't have dyno readings ;-) I've had the good fortune of receiving support from Rockshox for my race team 'RaceKraft' which is a Jr Devo team. We have 6 bikes set up with the Super Deluxe Ultimate Coil. I'm a total shock nerd and have spent some time revalving these shocks for my riders. We've only had a couple of trips to the desert and to race Bootleg a few weeks ago. First off, the architecture of these things is rad. It's pretty clear that durability was a major focus. The shock shaft...

3/6/2023 8:24am Not to through shade on Trinity, but a lot of the cost will be from "wasted" devlopment time as well, you could see with their first few iterations that they were trying to reinvent the wheel a bit, as opposed to taking accepted and perfectly functional ideas and just implement it on their frame geometry (specifically about bearing seating and pivot hardware). A great contrast is Neko used Transition bearing and pivot kits (collet style main pivot etc) as it saved him from making custom parts, and its a great robust solution that you can buy for cheap. Trinity didn't...

3/6/2023 8:20am Saw a picture of the XO groupset at a shop. The cassette appears to have 11 steel cogs and 1 alloy one. The steel is uncolored just like the 11 speed xdome cassettes. The alloy cogs uses the split black and silver design as XX leaks. The derailleur body is same as the XX derailleur except it has a silver alloy inner and outer cage.

3/6/2023 6:43am To be thourough and precise: a) it’s a dh-bike; b) it’s an enduro bike as well; c) it’s a horst-link high-pivot; d) it can take a gearbox or the new prototype drivetrain in the future; e) it’s possible to order with custom geo; f) it’s essentially a cr-mo/alu Norco Range HP on steroids with dh-standards for rear hub and bb. So yeah, regretably it’s pricy, but totally understandable why!
