Did those people who have given up on 148 bikes consider asymetric rims? Rims with more bracing like Flow EX3s? Carbon rims? Cushcore? Checking their spoke tension from time to time? I find it really hard to believe there's a weight limit for 148 spacing lol.

This is so perfectly in contrast to the comments above about Hill and a sad reality of the world, ones maybe the best MTB rider ever.. won everything, not a big media guy, no endorsements. Yet somehow a 40-50 guy gets endorsement deals because he likes to talk to a camera.

don‘t get me wrong sam hill is a legend, but what does he bring to a bike company these days? no content on youtube or any other social platform. should he get a ride/contract/money because he‘s sam hill? i also don‘t get the feeling that he‘s into product development either.

It’s BS that eewings are so expensive and yet don’t come with a lifetime warranty IMO. If they’re billing them as a “buy it for life” crankset then they should back that up with a warranty. I have heard of at least one person bending them.

re: Paul Couderc on full SRAM/RS, makes me think about Fox Factory and how big of idiots they look like for going full racer elitist and banishing all their non-racer riders to Marz like I get boosting the Marz roster to help with the brand revival was a necessary move, but now they just look like assholes for not giving riders the ability to adjust anything besides compression as if there's literally no benefit to being able to consider other suspension variables. sure many freeride/DJ applications don't need the full racing engineer capabilities that a DH WC rider utilizes, but...
