Specialized has nothing to do with Ohlins nowadays. Unless it's a team bike for Loic or Finn, or some other wild one-off. Theres no correlation. Ohlins does, however now factory spec Intense (as well as Mondraker and commencal). I could see this being the new tracer. Low shock (as seen under Isabeau and Palmer). Short, dual link (looks Dw-ish) and Intense doesnt HAVE to use VPP anymore now that they're not paying to license it so they could theoretically use something closer to DW than VPP. Also, without closer views it's really hard to see exactly what the platform is...

Run a shorter fork, will lower the bb and steepen the HTA. This bike and the privateer 140mm bike are completely pointless.

Exactly this. It seems like professionally he is the problem, and then add to it that socially he is problematic, and we start to get a full picture... not somebody I want to root for. He's been in the business and public eye a long time; I mean, it's never too late, but I would guess we've seen all the "self reflection and personal growth" we're going to get - at this point any mea culpa would just look like a PR stunt.
