I have two, one 140 and the other at 160. Several hard enduros and shuttle days on the 160 and plenty of trail days on the 140. Only issues are having to glue to little shock mud guard back on and replace headset bearings. What is the issue with yours?

I think so. I have owned 6-8 or so Transition over the year. Realy liked all of them and still have my TR-11 DH bike. That said, they used to be the cool brand, anti SC, Specialized, etc with great bikes and a decent value. Their value went out the door long ago. Really hate to see where they are going lately...

Mavic rims were always pretty consistent , but their rear hubs in the late 90's/early 2000's were complete garbage, esepcially for the money they charged and lack of support.

This kinda ties in with Gwin acquiring the rock. Im honestly surprised how well the youth are doing in this country despite how little of a national development program we have. I know its hard as our country is massive and getting jr. to a race clear on the other side of the country isnt feasible for most people. But it really shows what youth development does. Look at the current crop of fast french dudes that all came up through Vouilloz and co's direction.

That said, if there was any benefit to off-road bikes outside a telescopic forks, the motor industry would have figured it out years ago. 10/23/2023 2:15pm Girvin parallel link forks and similar have been tried off and on throughout the years and they proved garbage almost every single time. There are a few motorcycle applications out there I'm aware of. However, those applications are not as weighed conscious and can do it right.
