So, this promotion really says nothing...sort of like a politician. "The most durable DT Swiss spoke in its weight category to date.." What is the "category'? DH, XC, 'enduro'....? What is the targeted application? Are they 2.0, 1.8 or different? I have DT on most of my bikes since forever, but this is a pretty lame press release.

100% as long as it's not compromising suspension design or something else performance-wise. Can be used to mount a tube/multi-tool/handsaw etc instead as well. All very useful things

2/14/2024 2:33pm Since you have that pic, the "Y-Bikes'/URT's were never cool (Klein, Trek, Schwinn, etc).... even when they were new. The suspension was basically a catapult, only 'worked' when sitting, etc. Serious riders/racers avoided them.

Sram acting like they re-invented the wheel with their “transmission”-“shifting under load!” When Shimano has been doing it for years. Next bike I build up will be Shimano! Too hard to ignore the bang for your buck.
