Yup I agree - I had a Float X2 last week that came back after 14 months, it was a bit dry in the dust wiper and maybe some air in the damper but overall pretty OK - turned out it had done around 350 hours..... I think RS stuff probably holds up better than fox in most cases as well As for torque wrench thigns, an adapter like this is a handy way to convert any spanner for a torque wrench https://www.motionpro.com/product/08-0380

Thanks for the answers guys. Rockshox puts a lot of pressure on being specific with torque (17Nm) for the crowfoot - I won't be able to do it with Knipex for sure. Do i need to invest in crowfoot + specific size tool? Do you really have to swap seals every 100h? For superdeluxe 200h was enough...

Rockshox suggests servicing shock every 100h - I did it at the lbs and they told me to do it more often (50-75hrs) since based on their experience if you make it every 100h it's not enough. The idea of bringing it for X days to lbs every 50hrs does not make sense to me. I used to do 50h...

HT PA03A are great pedals with good durability. I have several pairs and they last a long time. 85kg's and very much like to shred.

Ignore any post above that mentions sewing: for cut that does not touch the casing, there is ZERO reason to perforate the inside layer of rubber keeping that tire inflated. Just buy a tube of urethane sealant like Seam Grip for $8, clean the slash, and seal it w/ overlap of 3mm+ on each side. A quality urethane sealant is far more durable than Shoe Goo, and repairs I've made this way typically outlast the tread life of the tire. If you re-seal the tube of Seam Grip well in airtight container (e.g. 2x ziplocs) and store cool, it will...

For sure, but if someone needs it (you down the line maybe?) this is a possible solution. And putting a patch over it.

I just noticed a slash on my dhr dd after only few hours of riding it. Cord / butyl insert does not seem to be touched, it's so shallow I belive it's just a rubber that was affected. Would you still ride it though? What are your experiences with damages like these?
