I saw he had flight attendant suspension and a control pod on his handlebars to cycle through modes at Les Gets round so id say its the same.

Eliana sure did step up toward the end of the year.

I don't think you understand the Syndicate or her career and value to the sport. If anything, they should add another female to the team.

Only if it's Nina's choice. I don't think they'd let her go for a bad season.

Will be funny to see Bernard kerr giving himself a ride until he's 50 trying to get that win

That's true. Danny made up for lost time in 2016, though, ending the season with wins in the last 3 races to finish 2nd in the overall behind Aaron Gwin by just 26 points. He's had only 1 other World Cup win since then, but it was the memorable final 2019 race at Snowshoe that allowed Loïc Bruni to take the title over Amaury Pierron.

I had to double check on roots and rain, but Danny didn't win a World Cup until almost 5yrs after his first World Champs, so Hatton isn't totally in a league of his own here.

IMO who is realistically possible next year (not in order)... Pinky Kiefer Lachie Not saying the rest can't win, but factoring in age/bike/previous injuries I think these 3 have the best chance.

[I guess it's too early for a 2027 Race Talk thread, so I'll go ahead and post this here since I found myself thinking about it.] One aspect that made this an exciting year in World Cup was seeing some Elite riders get their first wins: Hattie Harnden, Anna Newkirk, Lisa Bouladou, Luca Shaw, Asa Vermette, and Max Alran won. I wonder if any of the current Elite riders will get their first win in 2027. (Or maybe a first-year Elite - say, Jonty Williamson or one of the top women graduating from Juniors for example - will get a...

I switched Bouladou to Earnest and I think I would’ve had a top 30 result without it, so that was a bummer. But yea this was my first year playing fantasy and it was so fun and exciting and I can’t wait for the next season! My season highlight was a 2nd place from worlds, and now I have some reeeally nice deity pedals and grips waiting to get some dirt on them.

gutted for local girl Sam going 11th in juniors girls. home country race and just off the mark. her first full (or nearly full) season doing all the races including EU and she showed promise. full on privateer, go fund me, local shop type racer. well played, lady. now come back and win more of these US races.

Said in the WB interview post-Q2 finish that he was nervous and overthinking in Q1 and washed out in a rut.

5th thru 13th in Elite Men Q2 between 3:23.458 and 3:23.870! so crazy how close the racing is.

First hits, tires are in the dirt!

Johny Salido, what's wrong with you man? 🤣

I think from the ucis perspective jrs is a place for young athletes to compete against their age. Including the best of their age group. Personally I agree that age maybe isn’t actually the best way to determine a premier/lites division in downhill. But if anything I’d allow the kids more time to mature by raising that age limit or providing new criteria. Not allow younger riders to race elites. In supercross they have removed teens from the 250 class. I don’t think it’s going to negatively impact anyone’s future and will likely actually be much healthier for those guys...

Feel free to elaborate what your chriteria are so the rest of us can understand why for example Goldstone doesn't fit your perception.

it’s a race, not a popularity contest

It's absolutely crazy to me how comfy Dylan Maples looks in those conditions for someone who grew up in California.
