I had the team at Cane Creek help with suspension setup and tuning. The Tigon is stellar! The progressive spring helps smooth out most of the small rocks and roots throughout the trails in Pisgah without bottoming out hard on the serious drops, jumps, and boulders on the downhills. I have the second setting basically set up as a lockout for the long gravel grinds. Haven’t had a chance to take it up for any shuttle runs yet. But; oughta be able to add air to the Tigon to handle bigger, harder, faster downhill hits.

How is the Tigon with a progressive spring? The Smuggler is already fairly progressive isn't it?

Oh word, yeah I thought about the large, I demo'd a large Sentinel beforehand. To me it felt like I was riding "behind" the bike sort of when really charging, but I also have a short torso and was coming from a bike with like 445mm reach, so it was a pretty big bump up. The medium Steezl fits me great, feels very centered, esp. with the long stays I think. For more of a trail bike build I might stick with the shorter CS, but even set up like mine mine it's still plenty of fun on mellower trails.
