10/10/2018 5:17pm I’m pretty sure Rockshox has a patent for sag markings on stanchions, so it might be a while before we see other companies also do it.

8/16/2018 9:48am the new red bull rider is revealed!!! sorry, i had to. it's team rumors after all and there's nothing worthy of talking about yet. i couldn't believe they sent me TLD fullface helmet w/ logo etc. it seems like a semenuk replica. it's for display only, size XL, no cheekpads or straps and part of a package to hype up crankworx, rampage and www.redbull.tv if only they sent me a razor to shave my neck.

1/17/2018 1:37pm Moustaches. I don't understand the hate, isn't this the type of universal compatibility that everyone is asking for when they bitch about standards? Only problem is you can't fit that All In tool in there anymore. You don't need to buy this if you already have a bike with some cranks. If you are upgrading your cranks, this makes a lot of sense, cause you can take those same cranks with you to a new frame no matter that BB standard. This is precisely what people want when they bitch about standards. Apparently you can't win, even with sneaky moustaches.

8/27/2017 10:32am Going from a flat crown to a drop crown does not require to slide down the stanchions. You need a longer steerer tube though, so yes, I agree with the riser bar as the best solution.

8/15/2017 5:17am Hi everyone, nice to see so much debate arising, great to see the engagement between users. I'll explain some of the topics as best as possible without making it too long winded or over complicated. The springs are dual-rate, this is the precise term and is unambiguous. There are two discrete linear rate stages observed throughout compression with a small transition section between the two. ‘Progressive’ unfortunately seems to mean more than one thing, but it would normally be described as a continuously varying rate observed throughout travel, as you might expect when compressing an air spring. The springs do...

8/14/2017 1:51pm It's not that complicated. The part of the spring with the big gaps has more torsional strength so it is stiffer. The part with small gaps (is longer so more flexible for a given load) is easier to compress. The duel coils on off road is easier to make and fine tune as there two pieces, this is a one shot deal. This is better.

8/14/2017 1:51pm They've been making progressive fork springs for motorcycles for a long time and they don't expand. And if engineered and used properly, they won't bind since the spring rate is just much higher at the end. It's not relying on physical contact/binding to provide the ramp up - that would be retarded.
