Looking a bit closer on the ol' gram I kinda think that may just be a Zeb. They do a grey for that fork which that looks kinda bluegrey to me The plot thickens!

How you ride matters more than weight. If you double your weight you double impact energy. If you double your speed you'll have 4x the impact energy.

12/16/2020 12:13pm I’m 175#’s and moved from a 160 lyrik ultimate to a 170 fox 38 and there’s 100% a difference in stiffness. The spots I noticed it the most were in chunky high speed corners (think lots of braking bumps or roots). I think the fork definitely feels stiffer side to side and under twisting force which (for me at least)...

I am guessing that Tahnee got a fair chuck of chunk of change to move to canyon. I don’t get why Vali who has yet to win a elite WC or get a Elite WC podium gets all this shine. Is she the future probably. Is she the present, not so sure a about that. I though maybe he had s huge following in SM and that was why she would be worth so much but nope. So just trying to understand why is it’s she is hottest commodity?

Nope. All riders want better bikes. For some that could mean a more fun bike, a more lively bike, a smaller (less travel), lighter bike. Some riders want to have fun regardless of the times they post on Strava, if they even post rides in strava. If all riders wanted faster bikes, 27,5" would have been dead a few years ago and it is in XC where the most important thing is in fact that the bike is fast and efficient. Not so when it comes to recreational trail riding. Or freeride. Or dirtjumps. Etc.

Dual uprights on the rear triangle. Size specific chainstay lengths. You seem to have some animosity towards Santa Cruz. They are not nearly as exclusive as you have made them out to be in your mind. When a bike is launched that doesn’t fit my needs or is from a brand I’m not crazy about, I don’t rag on it online. I just don’t purchase it.

Most of the new bikes are the real deal. As for the new nomad, I lost interest at 650b. Now let's see that Nuke, that Norco, that Forbidden, that Cannondale...etc-etc. SC can go and shove up their $$$es 180mm 650bs.

They used to be, yeah. And Haibike was part of the group a while ago as well (don't know if they still are). Don't know if it still holds up, but considering the suspension system, I'd say they are still owned by the same owners. As for 8pinns, considering how the whole cycling industry (not just MTB world) handles tolerances, I'm not sure I want an integrated seat post :D
