Speaking of the hot seat, one thing I haven't seen mentioned is how much better it is now they've lowered it. Hot seat riders are part of the reaction at the end of runs again.

oh my god beautiful bike. Its a shame these short chainstays and me have parted ways..I had previous generation of the balance and now after a few bikes I cannot go back to short chainstays, anyways.. about this topic, to me the one of the best frames is the Canfield one.2.... 200mm, dropper compatible.. you can short stroke to 180mm, pedals fantastic. Its badass looking. Here in 190mm front and rear in dh mode.. thinking about dropping some pedal friendly bits again in a few days (dropper, cassette), have done it before.. just dont have pics

I guess my 170mm Balance fits this category, although it was built (not bought).

I built up a Slayer a few weeks ago, I guess the concept is similar to the new Rallon, only that it doesnt have the option for 200mm in the rear. Didnt have the opportunity to test out all the geo settings, but so far I am really happy with it. It climbs very well and is insanely fun. I hope I can test it with a full DH rig tho, would be interesting how it compares.

Don’t believe so, but I’ll try to confirm, I have more tires in my garage than I could probably ever ride in the next few years, might be worth hacking a few up to measure durometer across the knob layer… I have one or two of the softs and a few pairs of the SS dh casing. This just a selection of what’s sitting out…

Not sure if links to the other site are frowned upon here, but new Maxxis tread pattern. https://www.pinkbike.com/news/spotted-new-maxxis-tire-on-jackson-goldst… Looks like it could be a DHF 2 and maybe bridge the gap between Asagai and HR3.

I'm just going to chime in on the free vs subscription broadcast debate. I'm totally on the side of free for a sport the size of MTB. It doesn't have the numbers to support a subscription broadcast, a free broadcast with advertisements would probably come closer to bridging that gap financially then a lot would expect. The increased eyeballs on the sport could lead to more outside sponsorship potential and I think most importantly a open stream broadcast means we're building the base of the viewership particularly with younger and less well off viewers who otherwise wouldn't be paying. Think...

Me neither. Redbulls business model seems very odd, and if a company like WBD wants broadcasting rights and make money from it I don't think Redbull would wanna pay the price for the rights. UCI sold DHI in a package with a whole lot of other disciplines if I'm not mistaken? The best way to reach a broader audience IMO...
