Edit: Forgot that Juniors are only 20 riders in finals, so Till also missed the cut.

WBD insta post said Till, Oli, and Asa had flats

welp, reece proved me wrong making it into the show with his slicer seat post thing (assuming he had it on).

The diaper and the fairing for the win!

That would have been brutal if Antoine Pierron got bumped down one more spot and missed qualifying by .001

lawlor said of dak's quali run "dak smashed chainring in first rock section. cranks locked, couldn't pedal or rotate cranks the entire run"

EDIT - his cranks weren't locked but he had no chain apparently.

and still 2.6 off the fastest time!

I like pinky’s chances if he can clear the start gate!

This morning Jackson, Amaury, Loic, Lachie, Bernie, and Benoit, and all the other fast guys are all doing the gap that Breeden pioneered. Richie cased it and went OTB. He’s been talking to medical for the past 5 mins.

Also unrelated, trek is running blacked out maxxis, and Richie is running transmission.

Hey, @dantecusolito don't forget to post your t-shirt size so Vital can get you a cool Vital T-shirt suitable for use as part of your DH kit, and maybe a Media vest so you can drive up to MSA and officially cover the race.

Have a great day marshalling the finals! I don't know about anyone else, but I'm just a wee bit jealous of you😉

Unfortunately I’m busy for MSA next weekend but I wouldn’t say no to a free medium shirt!

I was under the impression the junior races were still live streamed and able to be viewed. First time I've tried to watch it and i can't seem to find anything on the Whoop UCI Mtb Youtube page or their website. Anyone have any tips where/if I can get a live stream of the Junior race?

10/4/2025 9:59am

I know we've heard this countless times but I really hope the streaming subscription model gets figured out next season. The price in Canada ($29.99 per month) is straight up irresponsible and the pirate site isn't very good or reliable. I typically need to wait 12-48 hours to watch a replay, and this round where I have the opportunity to watch live the stream isn't working.

LMS LFG

I feel bad for Luca but at least it was by a decent margin and not like 0.075 off

Practically nothin between Luca n Henri though. Not sure how many wins Canyon has got but their team is killing it for the season. They might win the sorta 'overall team points per season' dunno

I'm really happy for Luke finally keeping his shit together. Hardest working guy in the circus, he look like Johnny Bravo.

Gutted for Luca of course.

Neko saving the broadcast of the penultimate race of the season. You all heard it was the penultimate race of the season, right guys?

He hardly saved it though did he? They didnt even manage to  get excited when Amaury was up at the first split. They are unable to commentate on what the riders are actually doing on track apart from talking about sending the occasional gap. There's no hype , no excitement.

Nobody who hasn't ridden a bike is going to enjoy this broadcast because if it's boring for a majority of fans then you can be sure it's boring for the casual viewer.

If people don't keep voicing dissatisfaction with what they feel needs improvement then we will be stuck with the choices of Warner Brother executives for the next few years

The racing is brilliant , every week. But the show itself could be so much more entertaining

Of course he didn't save it. It was a shitshow. I meant he kept up the appearances as the whole ship went down.

Im at my in-laws with a bunch of family and friends here, putting this on one of the TVs and trying to compete with college football. They couldn’t care less, they watch for a couple seconds and the commentary is embarrassing so they walk away.

No one commented the Amaury Pierron upper section - for me, this is the true definition of Downhill Mountain biking !!!
If he did not fell he will surely be in #1 spot !!!

Not sure if we can get 'another 2019' but this is shaping up to be one of the best DH overall finales ever.

They are now only 72 points apart as opposed to 100 (pre-race). Advantage, Loic.

Also congrats to Vali already locking it up. On a privateer program! lol, but srsly

lol.  Someone been watching too much f1 when penultimate starts getting used.  Literally the only place I’ve ever heard the word used.  Oh and these wierd videos I sometimes watch where this guy races marbles.  But of course his commentary is purely a joke.

Since I already knows what happens guess I’ll be watching the replay on mute with the radio going when I get off work to avoid unnecessary frustration.

lots still on the line. Asa could still catch Max. Aletha has a chance to catch Rosa. Still lots of shuffling to be had in the mens Top10.

The team rankings will be interesting this week. Sascha's result may leapfrog Trek past Specialized for 10th place

That sounds impossible but I guess with no elite woman and Finn having an off year I guess that makes sense.
