Mick Hannah on leaving the UR team. " I had an opportunity present itself that aligns better with my family and racing goals and I made the tough decision to leave the team. UR Team has been completely supportive and helpful through this process and I will always be grateful for them." It'll be interesting to see what he does next.

Um, we covered it in here that Gwin had the rug pulled from under him regarding YT, he was literally having dinner with the CEO during worlds, talking about how it's a matter of days to sign the contract, then something like next week he was told the programme is done. And then they decided to continue (in a smaller capacity with Angel only or something like that). He scrambled and did the deal with Intense, wreaking havoc in the Intense Factory Racing team that was running Sram gear with Jack Moir, Dean Lucas and Charlie Harrison, with the latter...

As far as I know he was expecting to renew the YT deal and they pulled the rug from under him saying there will be no WC racing team in... 2019? So he scrambled on his own and got the Intense deal, then YT said 'oh wait, we'll do some more racing'. With the current stuff they do seem very flaky when it comes to their pros. Has the budget run out a bit?

Maybe the exact terms of Moir's contract haven't been settled yet? Perhaps he has a commitment to Canyon but they're still negotiating the details.
