With Snowshoe, there are misty clouds & dew that batter it all might & through the early morning. If you're there to win, you want the latest start possible. Consider GM in 8th spot. With 3 minute gaps, he will have to leave 21 minutes earlier than the fastest qualifier. Even 5th is at a disadvantage. That's 15-21 minutes of warm sun through heavy tree cover & can be the difference between a bone dry rock garden & pure snot covered hell

I really hope all the " {top rider name} goes to Huffy/Schwinn/Mongoose/etc" posts end. It was no longer funny in 2015 and that's not likely to change today or the next decade.

Not too dissimilar from what Rocky Mountain is doing with the Slayer. Next year there will be no Maiden anymore, but the frame is approved to run with dual crowns (see Carston Storch)

Seems like the fun is back for a while now, keep it up world cuppers, this fun aspect of the PINNACLE of DH racing will get more kids involved and aspire to be world cup downhillers-in addition to the seriousness of training and work ethic you all put in, BRAVO!

I've gotten better at recording with the hero 7 black, and now would consider gimbals unnecessary. You need to have a very stable chest mount (or helmet mount but I dont like the angles). I have added padding to my chest mount and resown the straps to be extra tight, this way I get very smooth footage nearly everytime despite riding pretty rough trails: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXgj4AUk8pE (re-encoded footage) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWlVInULFyk (raw footage) Needs 4k or 1440 on youtube to prevent bitrate distortion.
