RESULTS - Qualifying, Snowshoe World Cup Downhill 10

Danny Hart and Loic Bruni are only .2 seconds apart with scorching runs and 4 #USDH Elite Men in the Top 10. No points awarded in qualifying today, so race day decides it all!

101 Elite Men, 23 Elite Women, 37 Junior Men and 4 Junior Women entered to race the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Downhill at Snowshoe, West Virginia. Qualifying for Saturday's race took place today at the eighth and final race of the 2019 World Cup calendar. Normally, qualifying at a World Cup is an opportunity for racers to earn points toward an overall series ranking and championship. The last race of the season does not award points for qualifying, and West Virginia will determine who takes the coveted 2019 World Cup overall win for Elite Men and Women. Vali Holl and Thibaut Daprela have already clinched the titles in the Junior Women's and Men's classes.

Loic Bruni is currently leading the series with 1312 points, with Amaury Pierron in 2nd with 1222 points and Troy Brosnan in 3rd and 1084 points. Tracey Hannah has the women's class fairly locked up with 1460 points and Marine Cabirou at 1310, but it's not guaranteed for the Australian. Elite Men and Women earn 250 points for a win and 210 for second and 190 for third.
