Hopefully they'll fix the live timing before the Elite men start their runs. Right now they still have a bunch of the timed training times in the Q1 results screen. Whoever manages their web site needs to up his/her game.
Women's Q1 is now underway.
Fastest Women's Elite time in timed training was 3:33.694. Two women have already gone faster in Q1 after 9 riders.
Harriet Harnden on a heater. Looks like all the top 10 beat the fastest timed training time.
On to Q2 will be: Earnest, Hemstreet, Seagrave, Blewitt, Johnset, Hulsebosch and some others.
Looks like Hoffmann had a problem in the 2nd sector and DNF'd. Not sure if you have to complete a run to go to Q2.
you just have to start your quali run
Footage of Jackson goldstones crash at the start of this video, looks like he had a weird bounce and smoked a tree

Hattie claiming the 100k belt purse in round 1 would be cool. Some huge names in women’s elite into LCQ. Lachie DNS on the live timing, anyone have the details? Practice crash?
Amaury looking solid after first 20 riders down the hill.
After 43 riders, trying again in Q2 will be: Pinkerton, Brosnan, Chapelet, Kiefer, Gwin, Daprela, Norton (DNF?), Breeden, Hart, Hartenstern, Thirion, Rude, Kerr
Max, Till and Asa still to drop.
Dang wish there was more than thirty in the finals. Field is stacked.
ASA
Asa really made some time on split 4
Hattie Harnden was my first pick in Fantasy. As soon as I saw the track, I thought her and Martin Maes would have a good weekend...and then I removed her because I saw some footage of how shitty that bike looks.
I'm a dummie dumb dumb.
How did I only just see that Mio Suemasa was on the entry list?! Thats a throwback!!
My boy Asa!!! Lettts gooooooo!!!!
Full Q1 results here: https://www.vitalmtb.com/news/news/results-south-korea-downhill-world-cup-elite-qualifying.
After she won the enduro on her first race on that weird stem I had her winning a World Cup last year but she never got it. This year for sure with a Proper wc off season.
Junior qualifying results, with a new kid on the block: https://www.vitalmtb.com/news/news/results-south-korea-downhill-world-cup-junior-qualifying.
TIL Bode Burke has changed sporting nationality to American Samoa
Good run, would have got him a top 5 in Q1.
Sounds like Wyns crash was cause by the hardtail guy (see Frameworks comment)
It looks like 3 sets of brothers qualified for Finals: Pierron, Alran, and Mallen (Juniors). I have no idea if that's ever been done before, but it's kind of cool to see.
I'm guessing they all had good support from their families when they wanted to grow up to be bicycle racers. And maybe some good genetics to start with!
Only clip of Jacko's crash I've seen... Wrapped up in a tree. Pads did their job.

Wyn also posted a story about the section that caused his crash, and that there have been no changes to it... Even in marshaling.
Poor design not considering that anyone would skip it, because there's almost no way to safely do the B line. Even if stopping and waiting... Just nearly impossible to drop back in and be sure someone won't be flying in on you in less than 2 seconds.
Hardtail bro went from legend to villain real quick lol.
In all seriousness that fucking sucks Wyn, hope you have a speedy recovery.
Looks like he clipped his left pedal on a rock, he unclipped his right then caught the left pedal again on the next compression..
Even nerdier, there are three pairs of twins in the finals:
Till & Max
The Mallens
Rebecca & Thomas Bruno
They've closed it now for everyone
The freak gamux bikes doesnt seem to be holding back people. I would have thought tha in this circumstances it wouldnt be beneficial to have ultra high bars
Asa also had to pass hardtail bro in his quali run.
