Hello Vital MTB Visitor,
We’re conducting a survey and would appreciate your input. Your answers will help Vital and the MTB industry better understand what riders like you want. Survey results will be used to recognize top brands. Make your voice heard!
Five lucky people will be selected at random to win a Vital MTB t-shirt.
Thanks in advance,
The Vital MTB Crew
Interesting that juniors are listed in elites with an asterisk for season 2026 and yet on a separate table for 2025. Possible change coming for this year.
Did Trump try to bring him over? 😂
You can't pull Trump jokes on Vital bro. Vital is America first...
Why can I picture a video of a seal team grabbing him off a surf board, bringing him to the US, and Trump proclaims, "We got Greenland! "
Ditched Red Bull so he can wear a big beautiful red helmet labeled in golden letters " MAKE GREENLAND GREAT AGAIN " and start a video series about his comeback with out off the industry money 😉
Odd men's list?
Tyler is listed at 15th, waaay ahead of Max Alran and Asa?
Comes from continental and national champs and continental series results.
Sounds like he might not want to have a full WC ride, he says he is burnt out so maybe he didn't put much effort into finding a new gig.
Starting to rival some of the motocross team names. Just needs a factory or something.
Baptiste Pierron team listed as Commencal 101. Is this a new name to an existing team?
Bode Burke, Alden Pate, Frida Ronning and Gavin Tomlinson on "Crestline Speed Shop" team.
It is a small team of commencal with young guys like Quentin barbe, sacha brizin and other fast kids
Evan Medcalf on COMMENCAL SCHWALBE BY LES ORRES
And looks like Frameworks added a couple juniors to the main team. Jack McCredie and Zanna Logar
Athertons only with one rider?
It shows Charlie Hatton, Luke Wayman, Malik Boatwright and Elise Empey on Atherton
It is a pity.
But not sooo much of a suprise.
But he's doing the right thing for shure.
Farewell, chefstyler.
Making my day, mate!
Looks like Caleb Holonko is off Kona. Making room for Brage and a big comeback?
yeah man they will just dust off a Stab deluxe from the Kona museum floor, some JNCO jeans and a discman with P.O.D's greatest hits (Alive on repeat)
take these with you bro
Nah. Kona is slowly getting out of the high(er) end long travel mtb game and focusing on alternative travel and bikepacking bikes
Jr riders have always been a part of the Elite mens rankings list and not a separate Jnr list. Go back to the 14/1/25 and Max Alran and Asa are ranked 19th and 21st. 2024 had Houser, 2022 had Jackson, even way back in 2012 there was Loic and Richie in the top 40.
Its not a conspiracy.
Brage to Ghost? they are advertising something exciting in the gravity space and cut the XC team...
Commencal 101 is a development team and was only kids until now. They've been on the euro circuit for a while.
This just in.... Jack Moir, Laurie Greenland and Remi Meier- Smith set to create their own adventure team knocking off epic bike and surf spots around the globe!
Yes!!
Brage obsession is hilarious. If Laurie can't get sponsor no chance he can...
Its his Uncles and he was just testing it. He has no ride/bike contract as yet. Check out his YouTube for the full video.
This is a rumour thread. Why not have fun with it? lol
I don't seriously think he's gonna go to Kona, but ever since the original owners bought it back, I think more than a few people are hoping they go back to their roots and bring back some big bikes. A man can dream, no?
I have a feeling in the next few years we will see a lot of riders like Greenland and Moir step away from competitive riding. If a rider can make more money elsewhere then why not? Only the very best will still be hanging around racing in their 30s
Who said they're making more money elsewhere? Neither of the two you mentioned is falling back on lucrative careers. They're quitting the race scene so they can hopefully find a paycheck doing something else in the bike world (since they're not getting paid well/at all from racing anymore).
