Team High Country just posted a view with Aus, NZ, GB and Canadian flags at a few famous bike parks in those countries (Whistler, Thredbo, Dyfi and one other that I can't make out).

Specialized Australia, a bit different than the Factory Team with Loic, etc.

But good none the less! Sian and her brother both rip and are good people.

I paused the video and I'm very confident that you are correct.

Not sure if that really means much, though.

Does Finn riding a Specialized with suspension telemetry in mid-December put an end to any speculation of him making a team move or is the party still rocking till 12/31?

Many pages ago I had mentioned Finn’s MSA post race interview with WB where he was very clear that he was staying with Specialized next year. He was talking about how excited he was to be healthy going into the offseason and he and the team could carry better momentum into 2026 with the bike and its setup.

Interesting, I'll keep an eye out for it. We have a nice big jump on the Rally Portugal, maybe he's looking to trick that?

Nukeproof posted a video of Breeden on the pulse. Look at the elbows 100% it’s him.

Seems odd that a company that has one single product to offer has the funds to be title sponsor of a factory DH and XC bike teams, but hey, good for them I guess.

I miss the days of athletes being sponsored by... Gillette, or like Target, or Budweiser... And Marlboro! (jk)

But seriously I miss the diversity and opportunities that were on offer then. And as much as I'm not 100% anti-energy drink, I do get concerned when an energy drink sponsor becomes an obligatory meal ticket in our sports and it's one of the only differentiators of the haves and have nots in action sports.

I'd love examples of an athlete (not an entire team/program) with a big money sponsor that is not energy drink. Only thing I can think of right off the rip is like CLIF bar with Chelsea. Not sure who else has secured the CLIF bag. And that's not even considering... What that contract is. For all I know it's tiny. Her big S check is likely bigger (shrug)

Zym Ice hf., the parent company of Unbroken, recently completed a ISK 800 million ($6.35 billion USD) convertible bond issue so they have cash.

Unbroken will also be distributed through thousands of Trek stores globally so the partnership will covert to sales.

Vali is getting that MINI money, Finn is sponsored by Swatch. Those are the only 2 non industry sponsors that come to mind straight away, but have no idea what they pay.

didnt even realize Vali was with Mini. maybe not a good thing lol

What was up with the Reece and Lotus thing? Now THAT was random. Only a one year thing right? But he had Volvo when he got his wins? SO, so random lol

I seem to be missing what trajectory gets you from volvo to lotus to... campervans

"Not sure who else has secured the CLIF bag"

Brett Rheeder was with them until 2024, when he parted ways with... almost everyone.  Precipitating his departure earlier this year from pretty much everyone else who was left.
