Blown away at how 'easy' Jacko made that look in the preview. Whipped out like a park double, and easily inside the poles... To see the best in the world struggle with that puts quite a bit in perspective.

top 4 elite men and women all w/in the same second in Q1! rough one for gwin and ronan. q2 just got heavy. have heard erice was helicoptered out. hope she's ok.

Ronan out of Q2. Was first until Q4 where something happened.
According to PB, Tire came off the rim in Q1 and he destroyed the rear wheel in Q2.
That is very strange - something in his back wheel setup is not correct.
Some big names at risk / already out in Q2.. The new system is way more interesting than I expected when they first announced it!
I wonder how teams/sponsors are guaging results with the new format. Like theres some guys on full factory rides who have missed both finals now. Curious if teams/sponsors look negatively on that, or do they realize how hard it is now and thats its bound to happen more often.
Like Pivot once again have no riders in Finals.

Oh no, hope Erice is okay, it would be horrible if she re-injured herself so soon after Hardline. I was surprised she was already back and racing.
A nice performance by Antoine Rogge in Q2. He's still young (23) and it would be great to see him get signed by a solid team.
Brosnan, Hart, and many more out of finals. I like the new format. I think it also shows how lower ranked riders are maybe more able to go fast after day 1, VS many top riders taking more time to get up to speed.
Brosnan and Hart will be in the final as they finished 8th and 9th of Q2 😉
