Hello Vital MTB Visitor,
We’re conducting a survey and would appreciate your input. Your answers will help Vital and the MTB industry better understand what riders like you want. Survey results will be used to recognize top brands. Make your voice heard!
Five lucky people will be selected at random to win a Vital MTB t-shirt.
Thanks in advance,
The Vital MTB Crew
Would think that AP goes through. Was leading when he went down and now drops early on track getting beat up. This just outside of the top 20 in Q1 go at the end.
What time CST do finals start? Always so hard to find the answer
Also, Q2s are gonna be hectic. Insane amount of top riders haven't qualified yet.
Walker, Hatton, Wilson, Greenland, and many more out for finals
Q2 qualifying results - the drama!

And juniors from a little earlier:

So one belted bike in men’s finals (Breeden, Intense)?
Lots of V10s
Jr Women EDR field down to 3, guaranteed podium!
Start lists are posted on UCI's site at: https://www.uci.org/race-hub/2025-whoop-uci-mountain-bike-world-cup-dhi-edr-bielsko-biala-szczyrk-pol/2iMibxMjrisWWUCRecbCsF

EDR
Two first-time winners
Canadian first-year elite Ellie Hosking wins women’s. Slawomir Lukasik wins men’s.
Randy in 6th!
Good to see Randy sending it while RR races DH.
It looks like only the top 20 Elite Men and top 10 Elite Women from Q1 get points from qualifying. No one from Q2 or any Juniors get points for qualifying.
So, Loic and Vali have 50 points already.
If I'm wrong on any of that, please let me know.
Finals start lists posted here - https://www.vitalmtb.com/news/news/finals-start-lists-world-cup-downhil…
yep and two in elite (harriet and scarsi)
Sorry if this has already been posted, but just a reminder that the Juniors finals will be streamed live and free on the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series Youtube channel, starting at 5:30 Eastern on Sunday, May 18.
Would have been nice to know this was coming.
Q2 in Full.... except Jackson Goldstone doesn't appear in the video.
(He does appear in the comments, though!)
Rick and Josh talking over each other every run is annoying.
When did conditions really start to deteriorate? Vali's track looks tame by comparison to what we saw in Q2.
amaury's q1 run w/ crash (POV)
Wow 0 coverage of the EDR. Kinda sad.
Pivot team with no riders in finals, and Eddie Masters still injured and not riding enduro. Tough start to the year for them
Did Rodger not make it?
He wasn't the only one. Not sure the UCI can back up their thumbnail claim of bringing us ALL the drama. Very pleased to see some coverage though (but next time could you please let us know your plans so we can watch before looking at the results).
Amuary missed a pole
Completely agree. Had a little bit of hope after last weekend, but today sucked. Nothing posted on the socials after the stages, no race reports or video leading up, literally all about checking live timings.
Downhill qualies on the same day really pulls its pants down. Hope some people made it over to show the EDR guys and girls some love.
This is why I don’t think it works to have the two on the same weekend. So lame
pivot's vlog from today
jack moir's race day vlog
EDIT...like @Juanargent said, amaury may have missed the pole - amaury went around jump at 25:54 in the replay.
here's screenshot from his quali1 POV.
not sure how this impacts race day if at all if protest periods have passed.
For real, kinda bizarre. It definitely felt like there was buzz around enduro again last weekend – and no attempt to keep any momentum.
Haven’t caught up on socials yet, but the results make it seem pretty interesting: new winners, lots of best finishes, etc.
Was he the only one to go around the jump? Looks like the gap was hard to clear in the conditions but you'd have to hit the jump to stay inside the poles
