He could just be done with racing World Cups at this point and not racing. He wasn't all that competitive over the last couple of years and had at least one scary injury. I know from listening to Olly on RC podcast that their crew enjoys being at the races, but might enjoy going to the races and not having to actually race as well. Can get great content that way and film some riding off course at the venues like Olly has done in the past.
Really interested to see how Daprela gets along with the Sender. Both Troy and Mille looked so nervous on the bike last year. Troy normally looks so smooth in his race runs and last year it looked like he was constantly fighting for his life. Not sure if its the tires or what.
I knew Thibaut was young but didnt realize he is only 22!
Seems like a really good pickup for Canyon to have Thibaut under the more mature guidance of Troy and Fabian. As fun as it is to watch, maybe they can tame and harness a bit of that checkers or wreckers mentality and Thibaut can find some consistency.
Or maybe just by being around Mr Consistency himself, will rub off on Thibaut. Either way, I like this move.

Yeah he got his maxxis tires. I got confused and thought that he was on Pirelli with some of the other Canyon riders. I swear between them and Commencal I can't keep up with the 21 different flavors of teams they sponsor.
I still hold my previous statement that Troy looked like he was having a hard time with the bike.
Bold move from Fabien and Thibault. Nico may had an advice - ? - but this will be interesting. I am sure the French connection will take note. As everyone else should too
Totally just rumor. I think Intense is done racing. I have heard the MS team is going Zerode (sounds weird I know). I think you are right, Dak to Mondraker in house team.
A lot of people seem to be talking about the Zerode thing so surely there is something in it? Apparently they will have a kiwi riding for them... my money is on Blenky but the Bulldog situation is also interesting.
There have been a few Zerode trail bikes floating around here in Wellington (where Zerode assemble their bikes) with Ōlins suspension.
Plus Metz the guy behind Zerode is a Roto boy since ages ago and Brooke has been spending a lot of time riding there of late by the looks of things.
I believe Blinky signed with Crestline just last year, not sure on duration of contract, but Brooke seems like a better chance for Zerode. Crazy to think two big name riders could be riding for pretty small brands, while some big brands are struggling keeping a team. This time of year rules!
There's a cassette and rear derailleur on that insta post from Brooke.
Not a Zerode - unless they've totally changed tack and gone against the past two decades of "gearboxes good - derailleurs bad" marketing.

FWIW - Saw Brooke riding today and he was on a Mondraker with Renthal bars and what looked like SRAM brakes. Maybe he's just scrubbing out the brands that are no longer supporting him and not hiding anything new?

The current Sender has been around for awhile, no? Would seem about time they work out a new one, or use their new signing to get a prototype going.
Perhaps on instagram Moimoi is queing us into new year - new sender.

Looks like the old V10 from the Union Team, TRP Breaks, i9 Wheels (coloured spokes), probably on a new team and cant share the old sponsor anymore.
It's a session (no 🤣). You can see rockshox fork and shock, Sram cranks and brakes etc... looks like they are keeping i9 and Maxxis & SDG..but the rest is now Trek/SRAM it looks like to me
I think Blinky is off Crestline. There was a post in Nov?
