Kale was one second faster at the 4th split on her second run than on her first.
I was watching it and waiting figured something happened, her time was still showing and she was 4:57 at the 4th split. Her and Poppy were the only girls at that point of the race under 5:00 at the split. Then I realized she was still 13 seconds off of Poppy.
Went down in his last practice run. EdBull spotted him from the gondola.

Some rain and a wet track today.
womens broadcast is a disgrace! 5 min of racing per run and they only show about 30 sec of it... you only see the start hut, first corner and the jumps at the end. they don't show any sections or splits. never seen such a bad fort bill broatcast!!
waste of time watching it IMO
its like every year, world champs though.. a great opportunity to get eyeballs on sports & its locked away in some little drip feed, backyard alley, geoblocked thucked up broadcast.. people then think the rest of the rounds are like this and give up... a complete waste of time. if it wasn't for the content these days on socials it would be a complete bust. telling IMHO though is the cut and paste links from socials to the places like novitals & redbike that should be having the best coverage ever...

Why do race footage directors think anyone has an interest in shots from 300 metres above where you can barely make out the rider, let alone what they're doing?
Shoutout to Sven for this. Had a few dropouts but was able to watch the women's elite without any work other than hitting refresh!

Vali's on a hot streak right now: 3 wins in a row. Amazingly, Cami has now taken 2nd place in all 4 races this year. It will be thrilling if they both stay healthy the rest of the season.
Because it's such a long open section and probably nothing overly interesting. So we can show this whole section or show you one lil spot. The number of cameras to cover that whole area would be costly. I don't really have much of an issue plus not like showed for for more than a handful of people. I have a bigger issues with first rider whole run then it's start gate and then end jumps. What happened to the last 4 minutes 😂

With riders starting every 30 seconds they cannot show much more than the start, a single section, and the finish. It makes sense to show the motorway as you can see an entire section of track and the finish altogether (OC is the most boring part). They show more of the track when riders drop in further apart from each other. I hope the rain stops for the last few fast men BTW.
