I can understand getting as much $$$ as possible because this is a brutally physical sport--your time in the spot light is limited. All riders who do this sport know that they can't do it forever at such a top level and at any moment may suffer a debilitating injury that could end a career. I am sure he is just saving for retirement.

In other news, Gwin does look like a bit of a punter at the end of that vid though.

hmmm well gwin served as a great vehicle for getting trek a better DH reputation. I dont see any other point to gwin on specialized besides money? and owning the fastest man on the hill?
