Decent vid about Danny's bike history (although some wacky measurements from Steve Jones). Found it funny Danny spend just over 1 minute on Saracen and doesn't show a Myst (maybe he didn't keep one?).

100 percent speculation but marshy is a bit older and as awesome as being greg’s mechanic is he probably is looking to do a bit more. Be the dougie fresh of a team and Santa already has dougie fresh.

Pretty horrible news from a french national round, Daprela and Amaury P. airlifted out after crashing on the same spot over 2 days. Daprela broke his helmet and suffered facial injuries, hoping both of them are doing ok and back on track soon.

Daprela has a broken nose & a cut to half his tongue, Daprela doesn't know if he will be racing Les Gets or not.

He's probably happy he was wearing a full face. Cannot recommend a rock to the face. Ironically doesn't hurt much if you do it the right way :D

Scary about both crashes. I've smashed my face with a full face on and it's not fun. 2005 Bromont Canada cup I front flipped on the rock face in practice and a log went perfectly between everything. Scary shit at speed. I'd even had my goggles off because I'd run out of tear-offs and couldnt see after days of rain. If it had been a rock not sure I'd have come off that hill.

Only news from Amaury is that it is looking like ribs and liver damage. All these updates for Pierron are pretty much hearsay on various sites, there is no official word so far. Gutted, now I understand why the top pros don't bother with smaller national races...

I think that's a false conclusion. Top Pros bother
to show up at any race that matters. That might be for preparation, speed gauge or price purse or bragging rights. They also become top pros because the don't shy away from heavy competition. Imo there's is no fiercer competition than a French Cup besides the WC. Also in Gwins latest Insideline Podcast he says he lacks to have had smaller local races this Offseason to be prepared for the WC. Also if Pierron, Daprela or Gwin aren't Top Bros, who is?
