I called about my warranty part that i've been waiting on for over 7 months. hopefully they've listened and I'll finally be able to ride my YT again. Oh not that big of a revelation!
let's just call it the dung beetle until they can start fulfilling warranties.

perusing the code revealed the phrase "dreadnought 2021", but that may just be a web site theme?

The only new things I can come up with that they don't already have or over lap the current range too much are the following.

1. XC bike (Not very on brand but who knows)
2. Gravel/CX Bike (goes for broke with a 63.5° HA and 77° SA)
3. Shorter travel E-bike

Probably 1 or 2 though.

Why not an aggressive hardtail? Makes all the sense to me...

Why does everyone think its just one bike? I think it'll be 2021 models of all their bikes. (back order of course)

I think they might be hinting at a massive transition from a bike company to a dried insect wholesaler to feed pet reptiles, hence the beetle photo.

Chloe Taylor (Privateer) has a blurred bike shot on her Instagram with a 1 day countdown timer and "whats coming?" caption that tags Privateer bikes and their parent company Hunt Wheels. Carbon Privateer?

Lots of frames now being sold at over 3 grand (a couple over $4,000). I understand it's a business but I wonder if these manufacturers are actually looking more at margins as opposed to market growth.

Definitely margins. I assume that’s why so many brands aren’t offering much in aluminum. I think we will also see a lot of bikes previously with gx and slx come with deore at the same price.

There's also the full-bike vs frame-only tax when shipping in to the US. I believe there was some sort of previous political squabbling that led to that, and maybe manufacturer's are now passing the cost on to the consumer with new models.

Anyone else excited to try the Vee hpl? Looks to be a more reasonable alternative to the assguy

Honestly I’d chalk it up to the fact they won’t be selling shit for complete bikes at full swing again until mid 2022. Dont expect to see any bikes with shimano or fox on them sitting in stock this year. Gonna be a lot longer we see the “order now and receive your bike within the next 10 weeks!” BS because the manufacturers and shipping companies can’t catch up. Supposedly it’s the shipping that’s completely screwing up the supply chain at the moment with tons of ships just sitting in ports unable to sail from SE Asia to Europe or US west coast. Bike companies are probably trying to squeeze more out of frames this season to account for that and to try and play off everyone that’s getting their $1400 stimmy/the people that sold their GME stocks last week
