Here is what I figured out from reading this and other sites... nothing is for sure but the names in black are quite certain...

This leaves us with Sunn, KTM, GIANT, YT, INTENSE and Cole, Dale, Fearon, Needels, Beer...

Fearon is the only young upcoming rider (that would suit Giants statement)

beer is on the new German Radon team.

Saw a picture of troy and his dad with the latter wearing a troy lee scram team shirt.
Read into that what you will.

Edit: nevermind.

On a side note, has anyone figured out what KTM is doing on the list?

Good on him for going out on his own terms, I'm sure that's a tough decision to make. He will be missed at the races

Here's the whole story straight from the Horse's mouth:

Well it has been a bit quiet on the news front for me. It is that time of the year when deals for the coming 2015/2016 seasons have been finalised and the public is waiting and speculating as companies endeavor to build anticipation prior to releasing team details.

I have some news about my future as a professional athlete on the world cup circuit. I will not be riding for a world cup team next year or racing world cups. At 26 years old, for now I have made a decision and I am committing to a career after racing. It was a decision that I was prepared to make when I realised my situation. Moving into the 2015 season my main goal was to find a team that had good bikes and products and I was committed and believed I would be back on the podium this coming season. However, after many emails and conversations I found there were no vacancies on any of the top teams for the coming season. After having raced for some of the best teams during my career you begin to understand that the systems and processes that these top teams have in place, and the finer details that receive attention, all really put riders in the best position to make the most of their talent and the hard training undertaken in the off season. I have loved racing at the highest level, along with the ups and downs that come with the risk taking that is required to be at the top. I love to push myself to the limit, which you may have all noticed, I am sure that this will carry me through this next stage in my life.

I love biking and racing too much to stop, so I’ll be at local and national events moving forward and who knows about World Champs. I have partnered with one of New Zealand’s leading bike brands and there will be some news about this in the coming weeks. Otherwise I’ll be full time at the University of Canterbury and I’m looking forward to the challenges that studying will offer.

I have to thank a few people who helped me out in many ways during my time racing overseas. Starting at the beginning with Lahar and Aaron Frankiln who took a risk with me as an underdog to win the junior world champs title in 2006. Winning world champs as a junior kicked things off for me, and since then I have learnt a lot about being an athlete and getting to the top in my sport. I have enjoyed many good times along the way and have to thank Mum, Dad and my family, Reece Mcleod, Lester Perry, Aaron Fernandez, Skinner, Baron, Mavis, Gary Wolf, Christopher Warrick, Hulen King, John Kirkaldie, Mark “Fitzy” Fitsimmons, Nathan Rankin, Jason Marsh, Hamish Ferguson, Katherine Prumm, Justin Leov, Simsy and Red-Dog, Bass Man, Dodzy, Sabrina Jonnier, Luke Strobel and his family, Peter Valance, Andy Ward, Rob Warner, Chris Kilmurray, Matt Clarke, John Oldale, Laurent Delorme, Jack Roure, Loic Bruni, Sam Blenkinsop, Thibaut Ruffin and the whole Ruffin Family (I really enjoyed 2014 with you all) and my wife, Amy. Plus everyone else who has made racing overseas such an experience, I know I’ll have missed some of you, cheers.

Cam, we'll miss seeing you out there pinning it! Good luck with your new adventures.

If you watch the Norco Team teaser video you get to clearly see a gloveless rider at the end with Blinki's riding style. Also if you pause the video around 6 seconds in you can see the lead off rider is also gloveless as they go down the rock face. Pretty sure the picture with the CRC boy's is an add for Ti Springs.

Not sure if these are functioning forks. Notice that the gold writing on the stanchion is catching the light on the upper edges. This would suggest to me that the writing has a thickness and the surface isn't smooth, like it is vinyl stuck on. The lack of seals would also suggest this.
You can actually see the edges of the sticker on the upper and lower edge.

Money.

Gwinn will be signed to a fairly large deal, and transporting brosnan from OZ every race will add up, then factor the sponsorship issues that arise from specialized having ropelato running ohlins suspension, gwinn running fox and brosnan running rockshox, wayyyyy too many parts and spares to transport to every race.

If specialized keep gwinn and ropelato they have 2 guys who live in the same state as the factory. It's win win for specialized and SRAM, spec cut costs and likely keep brosnan on a demo and SRAM get a top rider.
Ya, you're right. Because Specialized are probably so strapped for cash due to the millions of bikes they are selling.

Actually no, they probably have more cash than most of the other teams combined.

I am pretty sure that cash isn't the main issue. Neither is shipping loads of spares, or even shipping the riders.

Rockshox and Fox will be at the races in their own right, so that's really not an issue.

Just because a company sells lots of bikes, doesn't mean their marketing budget is unlimited, especially for a niche discipline such as downhill.

To quote Eric Carter himself;

"I know Specialized is currently in the process of seeing what the program will look like for next year and beyond and trying to reduce spending."

So ya, they certainly aren't strapped for cash, but it looks like the bean counters have decided that the cash will generate a better return elsewhere.

Ahh, was just about to trawl through carters interview for that quote, thanks.

And in reply to the whole fox/rockshox thing, its not about them being at the races, it's about a team being payed to endorse a product, and how much of a problem it becomes when the top rider on the team wants to run the main competors product instead

So does it mean he`ll be riding for Zerode locally ?

Official news about Bryn Atkinson and Jill Kintner. They're sticking with Norco, but looks like a scaled-back program consisting mostly of North American events.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Jill Kintner & Bryn Atkinson Continue Partnership with Norco Bicycles

VANCOUVER, B.C., November 24, 2014 - Norco Bicycles is thrilled to announce the continuation of our partnership with mountain bike athletes Jill Kintner and Bryn Atkinson. Both riders have successfully led Team Norco International on the UCI World Cup downhill series for the past 3 years, and for 2015 Norco will sponsor their program to promote the sport and events outside of World Cup racing. They will compete primarily in North American gravity events to include; the Pro GRT series in the US, Sea Otter Classic, Crankworx BC/NZ, The Colorado Freeride Festival, select US Enduros, and create video productions closely tied with their sponsors. As deeply passionate and committed athletes, Bryn and Jill will also coach instructional skills camps in the Pacific North West to give back to their community and mentor the next generation of up and coming riders.

Jill and Bryn are valued members of the Norco family. "Since 2012 the couple have been a pleasure to work with here at Norco. It goes without saying that our bikes are better because of them," says Norco Team Coordinator Jonathan Duncan. "The exposure and results they bring to the table are of great value to our Norco brand, and we are very pleased to be able to continue working together."

Bryn and Jill had this to say "We're excited about the direction we are headed and the changes in our program - now we have the freedom to do the events that provide the most impact. Racing, filming, photo shoots, festivals, trade shows, and other special projects will keep us busier than ever! Norco is a great company with an awesome line of bikes and we couldn't be happier to continue riding for them!"

Would be a good investment, Robs a great guy and safe bet business wise and design wise, people would be really impressed if he had the sort of funding needed what he would could come up with, def shake up some big names in the industry!

If we could drum up enough investment money for Zerode, they'd get so big that they'd have to have a World Cup team and Cam would have to come back!

Is that sunn thing still real? All they showed was some futuristic full suspended cruiser, everything went quiet after that...
