10/26/2017 10:30pm Had some surgery complications with an ankle which meant he had to give up riding and with that concentrated on his studies (even though I may be corrected on this), that he was semi - retired anyway. Be awesome to see the big horse back on a bike.

This from his Facebook page. Hey team thanks for the messages , I'm all good , munched my foot a bit and got two cuts on arm totalling 7 stitches . Brakes cooked and pulled to the bar half way down course ( 1000 ft of 50 degree stairs + 97 kg bloke at race pace) ...was on a runaway train ...Scary moment for sure .Stoked to be ok. Cheers

Could be on the cards for 2016 and 2017. Be bloody awesome if it is. Such an amazing track to watch racing on. Looking forward to Crankwox that's for sure.

Hey Brian, Queenstown in NZ is starting to roll into summer. Well just NZ in general really. Queenstown has the only Gondola access in the Southern Hemisphere as well as some great and amazing pedal access trails. Your Ibis Mojo HD would be right at home!!
