Why cant I expand this on iPad, this still happens, some vids fine most crap, cant understand in the tablet age we have coding like this! Vital used to be good for vid access content! Aside from that, during practice why can't these arrogant fools move off the track when a rider is clearly doing a full run, rules need to be sorted and a auto DQ for these riders, see it all the time, Dh esp, I know for a fact they don't like it done to them! Start DQing these muppets!

So what I wanna know is what tires did teams end up running, were they caught out by that forecasted weather and run dry tires since the most of the day was good, or did they run cut down spikes or did anyone run a mud tyre? When I compare Champery 2011 most were prepared for the weather tyre wise!

I'd argue it drives cost, not innovation, it will take another 2 years of development to get 29ers to where 27.5". I'm a 29er fan, but Ai don't think it's nessacikry a good move for DH from a competition point of view or for tracks that DH racers will be raced on, and that's a big fact people are not taking into account.

Well that's realitive to skill level, anyone can ride anything, but can everyone ride it well, or at the same level given the same variables! Fabian said it best can someone like Troy ride a 29er as well as Florian Payet, tall riders have been riding std wheeel sizes for ever, in fact pre 2007 tall riders dominated DH and many tracks were reffered to as a big mans track, only in recent times with bikes having lighter weight better suspension gears etc etc has that balance become even, I'd argue at the moment in 27.5" guise DH has never...

All good mate wasn't disagreeing with btw, yeah DH has gone through these big changes many times, I am not and never have been concerned about wheel size myself, I am more concerned about the tracks or quality tracks and number of rounds and lack of continental spread of DH venues! I'd rather see costs go towards a longer series...

I think all the e spec while interesting to debate, reality is unlike what 27.5" did to 26" which was too fold, the industry wanted everyone on 27.5" for the next big wave to influence sales in stagnant MTB market, which it did! This is the first time I see a e bike as a useful tool, not something for selffish longue lizards to go ruin hard work and access to trails butnprotect and maybe build and maintain trails, other than they should be banned from normal trail use and centres! Good work XFusion!!
