XF have great mid-stroke once set correctly, forget the rec PSI, they are way off, best to work with sag percentage, if you work from either spectrum, using more compression and less spring rate you will end up with less mid stroke support, Id add 5psi at a time and back off the compression and re test, I run my Vengeance @ 25% sag and its awesome very little LSC and no HSC and I have no mid-stroke issues at all, unlike Fox, recently tested a 2014 34, not even close to its performance, the Metric should be better again...

Just want to add re the weight comment I made, that was just a pick up test comparison with my own rig. static weight is relative, I mention it so they're was no bias or bs about my point of view, and this clarification is just so people don't get hung up on that aspect, how it rides is the important part and none of us know that and i can tell you you'd be far off, Rob does not ride crap stuff, its an amazing achievement in my opinion fwiw to design and build this level of bike, this...

Bike is sic as more so in person, weight low down, sick linkage, still pretty heavy, pinion adds weight, no doubt rides light though, and I bet amazingly, Rob wouldn't let me rid it haha, still someone needs to back Rob his designs are truly amazing, it might be built in a garage, but like the Britton race road bike, its incredibly well made, beyond any std mass produced bike, this thing and his DH bikes would shake the mtb world if funded into production!

Can confirm it is was a 27.5" that won the Hunua DH rd up in Jaffa land, Auckland, first 27.5" win in NZ, lets c what they can do on the Taniwha DH #RotoVegas #Rotorua for those uninitiated, coming this weekend at the NZed Nats! Braaap, yeah boi! Whip it whip it good!

Norco have a Factory Canadian team plus a World cup team in Bryn and Jill, sad to see them part from Dirt but its a business, if it is economies then makes sense, no point over duplicating the same thing, but I do see that Ben Reid and team probably more than the other teams have raised Norco's profile and thats definitely value right they're for a business, good luck to both parties, excited to see what Dirt Norco ride next, they are a fantastic brand.

I don't understand why Fox produces decent products for Pros but gives leftovers to the consumers? It's like they want us to PUSH everything they make just to bring it up to acceptable performance. yada yada yada...this technology will trickle down to "our" level some day based on research. CTD fork = $700 or RAD CTD fork for $1100 (future retail plan I bet)

Sic rig, if I have to go 27.5, Ill go a similar way 27.5" up front but still 26" in rear, upgrade that shock and it will really shine, Vector air, CCDBa cs or Monarch Plus
