This is true, but I would change one word. For me, it is “Wonderful setup, absolutely no modulation.” I got used to it fast, and I’m not saying it is right, but it is what I prefer.

Well, If you don’t want a Trek, I have a feeling based on Kinematics I’ve seen on Linkage Design, I feel that the V5 will be the next best frame. Tons of variables come into play more than the numbers. Like tubing thickness, which effects how compliant a bike is or even could be too soft. But I’m crossing my fingers they have that dialed in for the consumer and it’s not too stiff. it’s very hard for anyone to sit here and give you perfect advice. It will depend a lot on type of terrain your riding, body weight...

Unfortunately, I don't get to descend for more than a couple hundred feet at a time on the trails at home, and I didn't have time to ride elsewhere in the time I had before launch. But these will definitely be going head to head with the other top brakes on the market later this year in a bike park setting with a ton of vertical, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

When the reviewer is 230 pounds and says the brakes are too powerful, I believe it haha. however, for me, the reason why I switched to TRP is brake fade- the power your brakes have at the top of a descent doesnt' really matter. Its the power at the bottom, after 2000+ feet of straight down, when your forearms are jelly, your rotors are glowing, and your legs exhausted that the power matters. Too bad theres no mention of brake fade in the short review.
