I'm on team old-man-yelling-at-clouds but how about some all caps next time for effect? "Blades" is as laughable as the endless F1 / DH comparison for urban, hot AF, flat tracks full of foes at interstellar speeds vs mountain / wooded, dirt lines ridden full of bros & ladies at strong clip. Sure the experimental gear for each is analogous but: barely. It's still like comparing the death star ships to ewoks making spears. Anyway: blades. Literally made me laugh out loud and coil my face and brain into an arrogant anger map...

Ready for each and every down vote. Where the hell did the “blade” thing come from. The thing your finger touches is a lever. Normally on a bicycle a first class lever. It is connected to a master cylinder. When we had cantilever brakes I don’t remember anyone calling them “blades”. No other industry calls what is used as the interface where the human interacts with the braking system a blade. I’m sure I’m “Old man yelling at clouds” Come at me bro

Oh man, that takes me back. Believe it or not. My avatar pic is of me drinking a Corona while watching the 4x at Crested Butte. I raced DH. Many times. Part of the old race series. Like old. When there was still a 4x race. The mountain and trails are still epic. Winter or Summer. Do it.

You don't have to apologize to anyone - this is how ya figure out what you like. I have Fox, RS and Manitou - like them all though I'm super careful w/ Fox and its near impossible to fully service at home w/o weird tools while RS & Mani aren't. Anyway - ya like what ya like and if people don't like that... who cares. I'm not looking for a fleet of back-patting comments here so be honest, that's all this is - talk.

Hi, h ow about the Trunnion mounted shock on single pivot bike, like this... Is there some reason for this layout? Owner of similar bike here, so i can see, what my bike is doing under me. Not in bad sense, i love compliance of steel. But Trunnion... Anyway, nice beast that is!😉
