I just wonder if the UCI is trying to lock down e-bike racing "just in case" it gets big. The GNCC's here in the U.S. have ebike racing and maybe they don't want the AMA to get that large slice of the pie? No idea, I think it has a place and will just take time to get the correct format. Enduro on non-ebikes will continue to do well at the regional level. It is a great participation sport, not a great spectator sport.
