I recently discovered that I could watch full race replays through Prime (somehow HBO Max shows up in there). Just takes 24 hours or so to be available. The Germany ebike vs normal bike sales numbers have come up before. The question I have not seen an answer to is how many of those ebike/ pedal bikes are being used for actual off road mountain biking? The fact that Ebikes are leading the paved commuter bike sales in Germany really has no relevance to off road use of a mtb like we discuss here.

Agreed 100% - La Thuile set the bar quite high. Hopefully a good example for future venues and tracks!

🥱 This track looks fun to ride, but after a few years of watching riders race 90% of the same track and same lines, my motivation to tune in this weekend is way lower than other rounds. It doesn't help that the track is so one lined and times are so tight, that the broadcast gets super monotonous IMO as it's hard to distinguish when someone is on a good run. I haven't seen this track in person and don't know the constraints of the hillside, but why not move the poles over a few feet in more sections? Couldn't...

Hope they do a little refresh on this one. It has some cool spots but also what feels like a lot of filler that just traverses the hill side. Instead of just having those parts be straight it would be great to throw some new sections in. But I think we have been spoiled by the last two rounds.

Oh heck yeah it was. Rain on goggles. Dusty shaded wood is a nightmare. Spectators scrabbling up/down the mountain stirring more dust than the riders would powder glaze the lightest sprinkle on goggle lens & blind instantly. Its great to see Jackson dominate, but it's interesting how Vali isn't quite there this year. She was supposed to dominate for 10yeara, but look now at all the incredible junior woman. Will Asa and the Arlans come and challenge him. Will Deegan be able to match Jets speed. Who knows what will happen in the future. Its gonna be great if WB don't destroy it first.
